I've attended a few, but the LadyFingers were atrocious. Every time I put one in my mouth, she'd smack me in the head and scream, "Get the hell off me boy". What? chia* (the pet)

I thought munches were ALWAYS in public venues. I attend one in Longmont every so often.

There was a women's leather munch in Ferndale for a while and it was held at a restaurant that was closed to the public that night. That allowed more clothing options and some play. Later they moved to a gay bar in downtown Detroit, but it was a leather club, so again, no problem with clothes or play. However, most of the munches I have attended have been at vanilla restaurants and people wore vanilla clothing.

I have a hard time leaving the house once I am mentally "home" for the night, but I still go to munches now and then. It's a good way to reconnect with folks I don't get to see very often. One local to me is in a nice gay bar, the other in a nice coffee shop with comfy chairs. I avoid the restaurant ones, though, because I'd rather not HAVE to order food. It's all about the people. There are at least a dozen munches that I can think of in my area, some more fun than others, or at least some a better match for ME.

Now that I think on it, that's true---there is one local munch that is in a private home and folks do have to "register"/sign a waiver, since use of the play area and hot tub is allowed. I like that munch a lot! There's such a great mix of folks, and it's right down the main road from Me!

I would like to attend a Munchie ... but I am finding that nothing in the Minneapolis or St. Paul area is not quite accessible. [pause] Accessible in this case means: Bathrooms on the same floor as the meal (stairs can slow me down a lot; very very few restaurants have elevators.); and being in acceptable distance from a bus stop. I go to munches as often as I can. Going to one in Louisville this weekend. They are having classes, a munch then a play party and I'm revving to go! I look at it as a chance to meet new people in person and maybe learn some new things.

I have attended munches. However, right now my life is a bit busy for them. There is a drive whether I go to Topeka or KC and there are just other things that I would rather be doing in the evening.

Not every munch is like that, and the ones I have been to fetish wear isn't allowed because we're in a public domain, that is also family friendly, as well as willing to host our group like Denny's or Coco's or red robins. Or dave and buster's or Johns incredible Pizza* however they tittle themselves both I and daddy think their pizza sucks however* Or it was my favorite until they moved the group since it got to big Hamburger Patties in down town.
