AND The Woodshed does NOT allow photography. Please see FAQ 17. The Woodshed does not allow sex, FAQ 11, making it NOT a swingers club. There is a sign on the door that says something like "Welcome to the Woodshed".

What I'm finding increasingly interesting is your lack of desire to address the owner of the Woodshed on the provided public forum of Fetlife with your questions. Instead you choose to attempt to insight potentially incorrect information from folks who don't run the place.

Seems to me you're barking up the wrong tree for accurate info.

Now you are nit picking my words......when you begin to convey your meaning perfectly every single time you speak then start disecting mine....I asumed it was a given that ALL the time would not be taken literally or that would be every second of everyday that is absurd and  you know it "Every Club"  I will correct that error for you Every Club I have been to has had both swinger and BDSM hours. Is that better for you now that I have  explained in better detail? Lets just go with no there has never been a raid on any BDSM club in the history of BDSM and anyone who has told you this has occured is wrong including myself. there you go.( tho it has happened)

Are you specifically misreading what has been posted here from the Wood Shed's website?  They do not say they are 'fine with photography' during public hours.  What they say is, if you rent the club privately, during off hours, you are welcome to do photo shoots at that time.  That's not all that unusual.  Anybody who has seen the pics on My profile can tell that half of them were taken at 1763 during off hours.  Two of them were specifically taken the afternoon before the Interrogation and Role play demo that I mentioned earlier in the thread.  The same goes for the fire play pic.

Now, if you want to continue siting sources where raids are being done due to prostitution and swinging, please feel free to continue.  The thread has gone way off topic because that is the way you have gone.  Not any of that has to do with munches.

If someone tries to confiscate your camera and/or film, you don’t have to give it to them. If they take it by force or threaten you, they can be liable for things like theft and coercion. Even law enforcement officers need a court order.

Now with that said the data I have read and has been provided here all be it amusing to see so many get their thongs in a wad. In the woodsheds case here as they have been the theme. They have a permit they meet zoning regulations and seem to have gone above and beyond what is required to be on the up and up. That is good to see. In their case when you pay your 20 dollars you at that point would be paying a service fee to enter a private facility this would be the same as entering any private property. Although it is a business they retain the right as a "private club" key word "private" to say no Video Devices and or Camera's anyone pulling out a camera and was asked to not take pictures would be required to stop immediately If this information is in the registration form then there would be no reason to even bring along a cam of any kind with you. I do not attend fetish clubs often they do not interest me. However munches can be a great form of entertainment and on that note. Know my rights...I Know yours...and mine. annnnnnnnnnd back to the How many of you have or do attend munch question! I see the numbers of bad experiences have been staggering.

Then along with not being able to read, you're also not able to count.  There were twenty one people who responded positively to their experiences with munches.  (I counted Wyldheart because I know her answer from personal experience, even though she only said "gigglesnort".)  At least six of us have organized either munches or events that are on this thread alone.  There are others on the site that do so that you can find in their posting history.

Eleven people on the thread said they didn't like their experience.  In that, I'm counting one person who complained about having to wear fetish gear.  (Which isn't the case.)  One person who had difficulty due to a disability.  Also there was one person who didn't like the munches because people already knew each other, which was kind of silly to Me.  (Sorry Red, but people are going to know each other at a munch they have attended for years.)

HA! I'm guessing he's hit "Master's Quest" over in Tampa at some point. Quest has been known for years as a cover for swingers parties and doesn't try to hide it. Mr. Jordan ("Forceful"), the owner, is one piece of work. from attempting, and failing, to sue his ex-business partners to outright publicly claiming that the competition spreads HIV/AIDS to it's customers.

If this guy is part of the Quest crowd, I wouldn't be surprised at all. In fact, I'd almost be willing to put money on it.

I do not count you board regulars as you like to turn even the most basic of question into a flame war and clearly you have nothing better to do what go back and count post...are you unemployed? Do you not have a hobby? Do you really sit at a PC with the air shock elevating you way up high and think you are doing everyone a service by offering your I am a goddess point of view? I notice that most that view the OP  have done just that looked and not said a word only a few of you slapping one another on the ass so proud of yourselves are in here attacking anyone who is not you. I personally do not care...however your little groups actions detour others from bothering to post questions as a select few of you seem to know it all.

It was you that turned your own thread into a debate on the outlandish possibilities on what could happen at a munch.  (I seriously laughed at the button camera bit ala James Bond to infiltrate a munch and get pictures.)  The problem, I think, is that you wanted to come here and hold a negative opinion of kink establishments and groups.  Sorry, but it didn't turn out that way.

The fact that you had to stoop to name calling and rudeness didn't help your hope of showing how terrible us munch attending types are.  By the way, the folks who said they don't attend munches are "forum regulars" too.  How come it was only a problem that we were regulars when we didn't agree with you?

It varies from place to place, but I have never heard of having to buy food when the munch was in an eating establishment. It's just not to me, very fun to sit there for hours an hours and watch every one else eat and not have food of my own, because A I like eating and B, Watching other people eat, triggers my own desires to eat lol.

I know, TFB...It is hard to find a munch locally that is ADA accessible.  Heck its hard to find one period.

As much time as I am in Austin, I still cannot find a group in that area.  I know that there is a swinger's club (personal experince, they are not good to overweight folks), but I cannot find one for BDSM, yet I know one is there.

As in Austin, TX?

If you can't find a munch or other group in Austin, TX you're not looking. Austin is home to one of the largest and most active women's groups in the US, Bound by Desire. BbD has been active for over 20 years and has hosted the Hunt, a women's only event, since '91 (I think). It's actually one of the rare Women's Clubs, with dues and membership requirements including attendance as once of those requirements.

Austin also has an active TNG group, whip enthusiasts group, and NLA.

I'm not trying to be inflammatory AND I knew about everything personally except the munch and the colsest I've ever come to Austin is going to Dallas for a Leather event. Try looking for these things.

It's a shame, more  hosts should host their event at handicapped or special needs accessible locations. As it is, even if they are a location that is handicapped friendly most the time, their bathrooms are still difficult to get into if you're for example a wheel chair,  or on crutches, and the bathrooms are still either strictly male, or strictly female. Places need more family oriented bathrooms, where any gender can walk into the bathroom with any gender, if they require assistance in getting into the bathroom, or what goes on in the bathroom.
