I can't believe nobody posted this! Anyway, I prefer not to be addressed as "girl" right away, but I disagree that it is meant to be humiliating or degrading, and chronological age has nothing to do with it. It's just presuming more intimacy than exists, just as if they had called me "Mistress." I'd probably respond the same way, asking they not use relationship titles, but not get really pissy about it. I call my femsub playpartner "girl" sometimes even though she's older than I am. Heck, if she doesn't hold still, I call her "Miss Squirmypants."

Well I don't know, girls my age (22) don't have much of a problem being referred to as a girl. That being said, when I talk to someone directly, I always use their name. Except this one time when I decided to playfully call a girl originally from Kentucky "sugar" for a little while. I wasn't actually interested in her and I definately didn't expect that much of a positive reaction.

I definately don't recommend calling any Dommes "girl".

lalleee, I just read your profile. You must be the first submissive female I've heard of who hates spanking. Furthermore, you might want to be careful asking inexperienced men to slap your face, because with enough swing and whipping of the wrist a guy can cause serious damage to your jaw, teeth and vision. See this thread if you have time. It's also an instant turn off for some women.

None of the above. I have a fully functioning first name for real life and a fully functioning username for here, which also comes with a handy abbreviation if they want to save the environment by using fewer characters. :P
