ORIGINAL: willbeurdaddy You mean those temporary census jobs that were used to prop up the prior months' employment figures, of course. Yes, go figure, there's something that talks about an 'accurate census' being done every ten years in the US Contstitution.... I find at alot of these Tea Party rallies, folks, that honestly believe the following equation: The Economy Fails = Obama Fails = Republicans win Congress & Sarah Palin is elected as President (or insert some other Republican personality). That really is the belief. And they are motivated to make sure it happens in anyway possible. Where are the true conservatives these days? Its good news, to hear jobs being created during a month. The more the better. Not just for the president or Congress, but for America itself! Besides, the amount of suffering that takes place when folks get laid off: marriages go to sh*t, divorces and suicides take place at a higher rate, and people are more open to destructive courses of action to 'get even'. Right now, the only group in this country that is actively trying to get the economy working against are the Democrats. The Republicans just sit on their hands and yell 'no'. The last Democrat in the office of the President, nearly reduced the national debt to zero, and started a surplus. Then we got ANOTHER, Republican in the office, and turned $2 Trillion in debt to $13 trillion in eight years. So, now this Democrat, is trying to fix alot of the problems. Anyone fixing the problem, instead of finding scape goats, gets my vote. Right now, it seems its the Democrats who are fixing problems as best as they can; and Republicans not doing much of anything good for the country (there are some exceptions to both...if rare). I told one guy running against my representative "Get me a real job, before Nov. If you do, I'll vote for you. If you dont, I'll vote for the other guy". Still haven't gotten a job because of him, so I know the current guy in office gets my vote. I was going to vote for the current person in the seat....but if I got a $80K/year job, hellya, I'll vote for the Republican. The current person representating me, is a good person. Very hard working, to help those in her area. If I'm patient, I believe this representative, will set things in action to improve the economy much further.
