I have been doing a lot of thinking about the different skills a Dom or Master would ideally want their sub to have and thought I would just ask the community for inspiration as well.  What skills or knowledge do you want your subs or slaves to have?

The ability to look inside herself and clearly communicate what she finds in an open and honest fashion. If she is finding something overly difficult can she identify the why and work with me in finding ways to, if not make it easier, at least make it not become a problem. When she has seen there is a problem has she the strength to face and deal with it rather than trying to hide from it till it goes away (Hiding from such problems usualy makes them worse, not better!)

On a more mundain level... a good cook, good lover, good organiser, entertaining company, makes good coffee and is good at giving a relaxing massage are all definate ticks in the plus column.

Massage specifically relaxing massage and massage of injured and other medical areas...

awww, Iron Bear took my answer.....

massage is the most wonderful skill to have....i would think most Dominants would love to be pampered in this way....

i think the most important skill to have though, is to anticipate his needs....have his dinner ready when he gets home from a hard day....have things ready he may need later (clothes for the gym laid out for example)....if he licks his lips get him a cold drink before he asks....always be aware of what he needs, before he even knows he needs it....

he is the King of the castle....make sure he feels that...make his life a comfort

Want a list? http://www.atlantissagas.org/skills.html

That said I poke my head in all aspects of life. The online world is an occupational hazard at the moment. I’m not really an online person. I am doing a lot of research and such online and the wonderful world of DSL gives me the appearance of being the perpetual site lurker. The above skill list if for those who love to wander off and can be comfortable at home, tent, ship, primitive cabin, cave, whatever itch you want to scratch at the time. I must profess that the lure of a slave who can wander off to the middle of nowhere with me, and happily do so, is quite appealing. I am still waiting to meet someone with such proclivities. Everyone is different and looking for different things. So my list is my wishful .2¢

girl has many skills and believes what has already been said is so very true......the ability to look inside oneself, ask themself, "is this really a problem? if so, how do i deal with it? do i run and hide or do i speak up and explain why i feel it to be a problem?"

girl has taken a look inside herself and found it to be a wonderful task, as she found inner peace with some things that were "haunting" her from her past.

a few of girls skills are: writing, proof reading, editing, typing 50-75 words a minute possibly more by now as she has had a chance to sit in front of the pc and type more now than she has before. she can make awesome coffee, massage sore and tired muscles, not a bad cook and am always up for a challenge where cooking and baking are concerned.

hehe ok tired, sore and burnt like a lobster, girl is not thinking straight so if she rambles on someone please just send her back to that thing called a bed so she can get this thing called sleep.

girls skills as a slave vary from Master to Master because each Master has His own ideals on what He wants from a slave, but girl has been told she does an awesome serve, is a huge pain slut and wears her heart on her sleeve a bit too much at times....

but that is just who girl is ........ she is kind, caring and hates seeing others in pain, the list goes on and on and on and on

*side note: for the one wanting to change your "nilla" status, keep posting and it will change over time. hehe girl had to learn to post when something caught her eye and now she sometimes just posts because she has a burr up her backside about something.*

ok think that coffee is ready now, as if girl really needs it right now.

Communication is a huge skill a slave/sub should have because if they can not communicate that something is scaring them during a scene how is the Dominant to know this other than body language? and even then body language is not always reliable. a Dom/Domme is not a mind reader and can't tell when something is bothering His/Her slave/sub, so Communication is a thing that all Doms/Dommes or at least the "TRUE" ones want in a sub/slave.......... (just girls opinion.)

ok think it's that time........... coffee, snack and tv time....

Blessed Be and girl hopes that you find the answers you seek

LOL TrainMeSir

A few years ago, Jello ran an ad campain pushing jello as a non fat low calorie, light dessert.
Hence "There is always room for Jello"

Hope this helps

Damn. . . this Jello thing is making me feel OLD.

And I have to ask, since when is cleaning a skill. . . I always thought it was just something that was done (or put off in my case).

Oh, and one more question, what Master's degree will get you six figures?

Thanks

Best,

LaMalinche

Never... ever suggest they don't have to pay you. What they pay for, they'll value. What they get for free, they'll take for granted, and then demand as a right. Hold them up for all the market will bear.
