Actually, it isn't how the US has been benificial to other countries. All sorts of countries do good things for other countries now and then. And it isn't that the US is the only badboy as far as international doing things to other countries goes.
The US has had the good fortune to be on the North American continent during it's early developement. I am in Canada, and it was the same.
In this gigantic rich continent, there were two very like countries. Aside from us Canadians whuppin ya a bit early on ( with the help of GB and the native peoples ). Things have been a cake walk here. We grew rich and powerful in relative isolation.
But the US for various reasons and ideals felt a need to try and " guide " some world affairs. Overtly and covertly the US, USSR, GB, France, Germany and others with enough wealth and power, messed in other peoples business.
I don't have the time or patience to educate you on the history that you should have learned before making this post. Suffice to say that the US and other powers have screwed with lesser countries forever. It is the way of the world. And it comes with what the current term " blowback " entails.
The US is definitely not alone in it's meddling with other countries. But it does tend to be so loudly trumpeting it's perfect goodness. The USSR never did have the same caliber of PR weaponry.
I don't just take things I read at face value. I like to base My opinions on actual government documentation from the US. Some openly advertised, some pried loose from freedom of information hunts. The US and other high powered countries have been engaged in power struggles for a couple centuries. Some good has come of it. But mostly, these sorts of things retard the progress of all. It is a waste of so many things.
There are very good reasons for people around the world to hate the US and others. If the games would cease. Maybe it would not take too long for these things to be forgotten, and people everywhere could just get on with their lives and countries destinies.
Oh. Except of course, we have to reign in the stupid wealth mongers that have no countries or ideals. Just bottom lines. Regardless of lives or borders.
