There is legitimate research being done with some of the best technical hypothesis being considered and finally shown on Science channel...I think. Ok, nothing about how the world is going to end. Not only is the world not going to 'end' but it won't matter that you were right. Ok, a few conditions here...we are discussing one day, say midnight 12/20 to midnight 12/21. We need that for the perspective of context and very important comparative analysis with 12/19 to midnight 12/20 and midnight 12/21 to midnight 12/22. This is required because of the specificity of history's predictions and for measurements at the peak of the alignment of the planets occurring during those 24 hrs. One technical prediction is that earthlings at some time may well be able to see a spot on the sun...called Venus. This it is said will offer the best view of Venus from earth in all of these 1000's of years. Otherwise, let's get a few important things in first. According to the science, it is not very likely at all that there will be anything like a world-wide, natural apocalypse. Effects will be world-wide but quite mild in many places. The effects of the planetary alignment will likely effect gravitational pulls of the planets...each having some and thus our magnetic field. The overall effects of which though, being attenuated by the great distances between the planets. That may change the forces and structure of our very important and protective magnetic field. That may mean that we may lose some of it protection from the sun's influence on weather and because the suns energy has electronic potential, could effect communications, satellites etc....so they are at risk. That may be about all there is. So it is according to present science, very unlikely anything globally or even on a continental basis will change with the most likely exception being a possible small shift in weather patterns, a small change in sunlight patterns, flooding, winds drought etc. One reason also kinkroids is that effects of this planetary alignment begin to dissipate as soon as [it] passes its magnetic peak. Chronologically then as of 12:01 AM 12/22 in our experiment...conditions begin to return to normal.
