ORIGINAL: belongtoyou And, does that slave also wear their Master's collar? What does it mean to those individuals in terms of their level of commitment, was there any type of ceremony attached to being registered? Cheers, ~rain~ Edited because i clicked the wrong button. Any way, if you are asking about the process of being registered on The Slave Register web site. It's very simple. You go to http://www.slaveregister.com/ and click on "Register" and you will be redirected to a new screen with the following message: Slaves and submissives can register in The Slave Register and display a profile, personal ad, pictures, registration certificate and (after 7 days) post to the web boards. Each registration is assigned a unique 9-digit registration number (and can display an ownership certificate if they are owned.) If you're not a slave or submissive, or you don't want a registration number or certificate, then you should join with a profile name instead of registering with a number. Registration and the rest of the site are totally free. When you've filled out this form and submitted it, TSR's system will send you a confirmation email telling you what to do next. The Profiles How To? page explains more about how joining TSR works: if you are a master, mistress or dominant wanting a registration for your slave or submissive, please tell them to register, rather than registering them yourself. There is no ceremony. It is free, just like CM. It has Message Boards. It allows much more graphic pictures to be posted on your profile page. i joined TSR the same day i joined CM, because i had just been told about those two sites by a man i was chatting with on Yahoo and i told him that i was looking for a Master to own me. i registered on both and remain on both, even though i did find a Master on CM. When i first registered on TSR, i registered under my previous name of freeslave_linda (it was the best i could come up with on the spur of the moment), then i changed it to slave_joy, when my Master took ownership of me and changed my name to joy. i also changed my status from being a "free slave" to being owned. On TSR, you are allowed to change your profile name & your status, without losing your id number. Also, if you don't like the idea of having a registration # assigned to you, you have the option of signing on without getting the number. For me, it is just another resource for information, for exposing myself online & for searching for like-minded friends, Dommes, or a sister slave. i really don't know why so many seem to find The Slave Register so objectionable. If you don't like it, you don't need to join and/or you can unjoin. Being registered on that site & having a number & certificate on there only mean something, if it means something to you. Pretty much like having a collar or a ring only mean something, if they mean something to you. BTW, for anyone who just wants to check it out, you can log on as a "Guest" and not register. For anyone who's interested, my TSR # is 062-808-443 and my profile is located at http://www.slaveregister.com/p/slave_joy/. Hope this is helpful to you. slave joy Owned property of Master David
