Fast reply.

Inyouagain,

I can still see the monkeyboy.

So far, he has been nothing but polite and has actually adressed the issue instead of hijacking this thread with a personal issue, unlike you.

However, he is still free to have a delicious banana if he wants one.

First let me say that i really enjoy going to the message boards at TSR...there is usually alot of great information/view points there from the slave sect. The only issue i really find is that the boards aren't quite as active there as over here at CM.but some of the topics can be really great.

i registered there about a year ago, and thought it was really cool/neat/great (whatever) to get the bar code and certificate...then it hit me a few days later that the barcode, in all reality had to real meaning to my relationship or to me as a slave.

Sure, it's cute/creative and a great way to keep track of members of the boards but other than that the barcode, to me, is nothing more. my Master/Daddy didn't give it to me, doesn't recognize it as anything special, it is merely a number that i am assigned when i go to that particular site.

If there were such a thing as a real slave registery, or if you were assigned a slave number upon being collared or at a BDSM wedding then maybe there would be cause, in my opinion, to have that number tattooed or engraved on some piece of jewlery to be worn. Unfortunately, M/s relationships aren't noticed in that way.

Regardless, i love the site, as well as the internal enslavement site...but the barcodes and actual registery are just creative fun.

Gwen,

i agree with you about the discussions & information available on TSR, especially concerning slavery & ownership.  The information i get from that site has been very valuable to me.  The whole barcode thing is just a sidenote, it is completely optional and i really don't get what the big fuss is about it.  You can take it or not.  You can use it or not.  It's not a requirement to join.  To me, it is just another symbol of how i view myself as being a "piece of property".  i like that, actually, even though i have never had it placed on anything, other than my little certificate.  i have thought that having my slave number engraved on a dog tag would be nice, though.

In my case, my Master didn't have me register on TSR.  i registered there before i had a Master.  i didn't register for the barcode or for any reason other than to help me in my search for a Master.  The very same reason that i register on CM.

But, after registering there, i was really amazed at all the information available to me.  i read & reread everything i can on that site.  i didn't find my Master there, although i was contacted by several potential Masters there.  i happened to find a wonderful Master through CM, but i have remained a member of both sites and i enjoy both sites.  They both have things to offer me and i wouldn't trade one for the other, although, honestly, if i had to choose one over the other, i wouldn't hesitate to choose TSR over CM, simply for the wealth of information that i have access to on the TSR site.

Fortunately, there is no need to make a choice between the two.  i have no reason to and no desire to.  i am someone who sees value in not limiting myself to one viewpoint or to one website.

i'm very glad that you have found a word that you feel fits your identity.  That is such a wonderful feeling, when you can finally feel that there is a name for who you are inside.  For me, it was, any way.  It wasn't that i fit my identity to a word, but that i was finally able to fit a word to my true identity.

Hi charismagirrl,

you said it!  i couldn't agree more.  i was very happy that the link for the internal enslavement web site was on TSR.  i read & learned so much.  It was really good to find out that there is a way to describe how i have always felt inside & view myself.  Barcodes - Schmarcodes!  i get so much out of those sites, that i would go there even if i were required to paint myself green.

Pardon my jumping in with a non-sequitor, but I wanted to mention that I find your style of writing most enjoyable. This is surprising to me, as I am more often than not find gor-speak annoying.

Your posts have caused me to recognise that I am more annoyed the lack of coherance, grammar or format that it I am acustomed to seeing it expressed with. Seeing your meticulously composed posts gives me the same pleasure as seeing anything that is made with care, and well.

My respects to your M.

stay warm,
Lawrence

Amen.

My only problem with those registeries is this - a few years ago a Dom posted me as a slave. Didn't notify me of it and now I can't get off the *ucking thing.

Granted most don't take such things seriously - but it is a pisser when you don't know you have been listed as slave.
