This guy would have to have at least a single thought to have something interesting to say.

oooo yes, I'd love to find the perfect vodka. I'm in love with grey goose and have been a loyal follower of that vodka when I do drink. There have been so many new ones though. I can only sample 3 in a night though then I'm done for awhile LOL

You might go over to Off Topic, I started a thread on Cheese and Wine, we'd love to hear your thoughts ( and its another post!)

Once again my monitor is the victim of coca cola being spewed all over it due to laugher.

By the way can I get a shot of crown royal?

Crown Royal, here you go

Preps several vodkas in snifters, just little sips so no one ends up unexpectedly returning the vodka, along with dinner.

Yours,

benji

Okay! I never said anything about ALL VANILLA'S, but if some of ya'll inferred ( 1. GUESS, SURMISE  2. to involve as a normal outcome of thought ) that, let me be clear:

I resent the persocution, prosecution, judgement, condemnation, and criminalization that MANY (did we all get that? Have I been perfectly clear?) vanilla's have put into MY life, and how I live.

Brilliant ploy MHOO314 ... accept my compliments. However, I started this topic, I'm still on topic, and I have no intention of going away from it when I am busy replying to the many people who have posted on it. YOU are free to find another one of course.

Ok.. I'm not getting what the big hullabaloo is here. Sure, the guy comes in and blasts on 'nillas. So what? How often is it posted on these boards when a newbie comes in and is shocked at the lack of tolerance and acceptance by the 'kommunity' and we turn around and tell them to toughen up.. it's just as bad here as it is in 'nilla land.. then someone comes in and actually says.. hey.. vanilla land sucks.. and then gets blasted for that opinion? Does anyone think vanilla land doesn't suck? It all sucks! What's so bad about saying so? I mean.. wtf? If 'nilla land is so great, then why blast people for being intolerant in BDSM by saying it's no different from what vanillas do?

DDM.. welcome to the forums.. I don't know what it is.. but there's something about ya that I like. I hope you stick around a bit.

Agreed, you never SAID all, but I would say it was implied.

And good on you!  You know a long word well enough to have to define BOTH uses, in brackets to remind you what it means.  But vanilla's is possesive.  Plural would be vanillas.  No apostrophe. And how do vanillas criminalize our activities?  Most of the things we do are perfectly legal, and the ones that aren't are illegal for good reason.

Yours,

benji

Ok, LuckyAlbatross ... I'm out of the SouthEastern Michigan area. Can you be a little more specific as to the time and dates of these places? If you're inviting me, I accept. If you're not, then Good fortune to you at them.

I'm not familiar with BESS, could you describe a little about it?

Bravo, benji! One of the hallmarks of excellent service is being able to anticipate unforseen circumstances.

Quite. Them clumps of grey matter come in all sizes.

He would do better to take it slow and hang on to his vanilla icecream for a while. Jumping into the pond, making huge waves and then screaming that one cannot swim, results in a drenched icecream. Better to let the waves subside and watch others swim first.

Hello again, gooddogbenji;

I acknowledge you are correct, I mis-used the apostrophe.

I have seen many people struck ( sometimes for kink, sometimes for discipline ), leaving bruises in my years of travel and experiences in the lifstyle. The legalities vary, but that gets people put in jail, consensual or not if cops, neighbors, etc. find out. And if you don't know that, you are not very well-informed, and I'm not trying to be insulting. There are thousands of things done in the lifestyle that are illlegal, I'm not even sure how to begin explaining it to you. Perhaps this will help; what many vanilla people consider illegal physical or mental abuse, the lifestyle participants consider legal, welcome,  and normal. I don't know if you know this or not, but in many places in the United States, charges are pressed for assault, whether or not it's consensual.

May fortune favor you.

I realize that many things we do can be illegal if interpreted the wrong way.  But in many cases, consensual assault is just that.  Someone who cannot walk away from an abusive relationship.  However, I highly doubt many BDSMers within the realm of sanity have wandered to the slammer for flogging their slave.

Yes, there were those castration cases, which are an extreme case.  There are others, I'm sure.  But we are not some group which has specifically been targetted, illegalizing the sale of whips, handcuffs and gags to keep us running.

Just my opinion.

Yours,

benji

Celeste -- I thank you for your welcome. I think the answer to what you're wondering about ( why you may sorta like me ) is that I grow on people over time ... and am often hard to get rid of, conveniently, being stubborn.

Like mold!

Eh.. don't sweat the small stuff, DDM.  This ain't nothing. Just wait until you get involved in a sub vs slave thread, a no limits thread  .. or even worse.. a pro-domme thread. This is kiddie stuff compared to that. Of course, if you're really a masochist, start a thread on anything political in the Off Topics catagory. ::chuckles::

Here.. have a cookie. ;)

Celeste...could MissTress give him a cookie instead? Puh-leeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!
