ORIGINAL: myotherself I get 'em too, VC. And my profile clearly says 'submissive'. One guy was so persistent, offering to send all sorts of goodies...I almost gave in and let him send me stuff I guess it would never have shown up, I kept telling a guy I don't want him to send me stuff, he was begging to let him pay for pedicures, it would mean so much to him, blah blah. I told him I am not handing out my address especially to somebody who only CMails me and wants to stay anonymous, so thanks, I would like to keep my address private too. But please please, and the thought of me having that pedicure he paid for... So I suggested that he pays for the pedicures at a spa not too far away, possible with a credit card or PayPal (yup, they accept PP) and just gives me the number. They have a service that lets you buy beauty treatments on the web, once you paid for it you get a confirmation number, you can print a gift voucher out and give it to a person, or just tell them the number, and the person can then make an appointment - been the savior of a lot of guys who forgot wedding anniversaries, birthdays, etc. and they seem to do good business with that model. It was about 2 years ago, once it was clear that I wouldn't give out my address on the claim that he wanted to send me something and I actually gave him a chance to pay for the pedicure he so desperately wanted to pay for, he disappeared... Maybe he has an address collection fetish? The excuses were quite inventive, the website didn't work, his card wasn't accepted, their website seems to be down, he is worried that the site is not trustworthy... I don't want gifts from strangers, but if some stranger is begging me to accept them, fine, but most have the fetish for begging for them, and then possibly thinking a woman will sit at home waiting for the gift to arrive...
