Today i was thinking what would be a deal breaker for different peiople , so i thought i wouls throw this out there. If you found out yur Master was married and his wife did not know what would be the bigger deal breaker the cheating or the lie? Just an example i would like to know what your deal breakers are. I Know some will be the same some very different.

My deal breakers are lies. If he lies to me then hoe can i ever trust him agan. Not that i have to worry about that my Master would never lie to me. Some people might see smoking as a hard limit my Master smokes but it is just a part of him and i love him so i accept it. I wish he would quit for his health but that has to be his decision to do so.

Don't mind me i go off on tangents. What is your deal breakers?

I'd have to say lying about being married, it's one thing if I willingly, and I never would, but lets say I would, got into a relationship with a married man, knowing he was married, but to deceive me about his marriage status? Oh hell no, he'd be out the door so fast he wouldn't know what happened.

He's hurt two very innocent people with his lies  and if he can lie and cheat to the one he made vows to  in front of friends family an the church, then how honest is he capable of being to me, and how likely is he to get another woman on the side when I stop being satisfying to him.

I have other deal breakers, but the deal breaker typer threads have already been done an I don't really feel like plopping my deal breakers on the table at this time lol.

That's a tough one.  I have experienced lying that was pretty subjective, and was misrepresentation as opposed to outright lying.

Not showing me proper respect would be one.  I once had a young lady disagree with me disciplining her, in a chat with another Dom.  Out she went.

Considering her needs to trump mine would be another dealbreaker.

Deal breakers...

-lying
-inability to communicate
-refusal to communicate
- did I say lying?
-not being single
- being a moron
-being an asshole
-not following up or through
-anger issues
-no relationship with family or friends
-poly
-wanting to share me
-no sense of humor
-mean and not in a good way

-refusal to communicate
- did I say lying?
-not being completely single

All of the above, but especially the bold.

NuevaVida -> RE: Deal Breakers (8/27/2010 5:38:41 PM)

I have to be true to myself.  When something sits really awfully inside, I know that continuing would be compromising myself again, and I won't do that.

Yeah, it's the family and friends thing that bites me.

On topic <ahem>

Smoking is a deal breaker.
Not having girly parts would be a deal breaker.
One other thing I don't talk about in polite company.

I'm fairly good with most anything else. See, I'm not picky on paper .....

Uncontrolled, undisciplined anger

Just wanted to highlight this one. As someone who's dealt with strong emotions all his life, including anger, I think this is the key. And it brings me to a deal breaker I have, besides some of the biggies others have mentioned.

Severe lack of self discipline
No sense of responsibility

Less humor, more snark.

Oh, wait a minute, that falls under unnecessarily mean.

C'est la vie!

SubPet715 -> RE: Deal Breakers (8/27/2010 10:24:13 PM)

My deal breaker is not respecting my lines, I have very few limits of what I do not want to try period and when those are crossed then I know my domme does not have my best interests in mind. Frankly because those lines involve very dangerous activity that border on insane for me, but people have tried and at that point I simply backed away from everything.
