When you do something right, people won't be sure you're doing anything at all...futurama, the quote is apt none the less.

I haven't noticed a mod presence, I can take a guess as to who the mods can be but to be honest it doesn't concern me. Just because you feel you are being singled out doesn't make it so, it simply means you have done something to warrant the attention. Evaluate your behavior, conduct yourself in a manner in which you would like to be treated, and think before you post. Posting with all caps and exclamation points is the internet equivalent to a raving derelict on a street corner. Now reevaluating this thread I am not sure it's even supposed to be serious but if it is then really look at your actions and change accordingly.

I am for the mods, they're doing the right thing, because I don't feel them as a malevolent force.

A few disclaimers first.

I did not answer the poll because it is too vague.

Unlike what some have assumed, I am not a Moderator.

I think there are some folks here who are very glad that I am not.

I'm very middle of the road about the Moderation. I couldn't do the job Myself because, in My own admission, I would absolutely be biased. I have a preference for those on the site who are involved in wiitwd and a lot less tolerance for the folks who haven't got any common sense. This goes along very much with My style of Domination that is very obedience oriented. I figure, people on the site were already given instructions on how to behave. They really shouldn't have to be told twice.

Folks can say what they will about past Moderation. I didn't see it as unfair. That includes the numerous love notes with a gold boarder that I received for Myself.

Quite frankly, this OP reminds Me of the concept of a submissive testing a Dominant (which VAA is, to the best of My knowledge) to see how far the Dominant can be pushed for the submissive to receive a punishment. It's quite manipulative, and at this point, there is a clear no-win situation. Either the Moderators will continue to allow the foot stomping and tantrums to continue, or they will Moderate so the OP can say "told ya so, Mods are biased". If it were Me, I'd be more than willing to accept the outcome of the latter. Unless I'm mistaken, the Mods really are members of the site just like anyone else. They shouldn't be permitted to be attacked.

In my case, the mods treated me rather fairly. TOS is clear, I was/am clearly a violator.

Others might have a different opinion.

At the end of the day I take some comfort in knowing I am not an asshole.

You can never really trust a person to be in a place of power that can't be unbiased to the degree they can't pull the job off. I know they are human and expect a tad bit I guess but never to the point where it would interfere.

I would make a great Mod.

I had to think a bit before answering this.

I like moderation, as long as it is done MY WAY!

Yes, I am very biased. I am okay with that. The reality is that we all are biased. What one of us sees as entertaining fun, another is going to see differently. There is no way we will all be on the same page with this.

And........the biggest reality is that, I don't own the site. Therefor I have zero say in how the owners manage it. If I don't like something, I can either suck it up and stay. Or I can go do something else with my time. Example......without Jeffff, DG, and a few others around as much lately......this place is boring as hell. I flit in, poke any trolls I might see slinking around, then back out. I don't neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed Collarme to make my life complete. If I enjoy it, I am going to use it. If I don't, I won't.

Pretty easy really.

Actually, I agree with this as well. The mods do seem to have their favorites. I've seen some of what I would call "attacks" on various individuals and have to wonder why they let some people get away with it and others get mod-spanked for much less severe postings. (LOL...and I'm sure the ones that get away with it are going, "Who's he talking about?")

HOWEVER...I do think the boards would be much worse if the mods weren't here so I am definitely in favor of the moderators.

It is exactly My bias that has prompted Me to decline any potential arrangements about the matter. I find it much better to be honest about the situation than promote Myself as something that I am not.
