I was suspicious as well, reading the thread. However, the brief article in the link does not have sufficient information to conclude foul play. The death was ruled accidental and the information as presented in the article does not suggest otherwise.



It would be hard to lug your dead girlfriend on to the roof after you suffocated her with a plastic bag, true. But it would be an interesting way to get away with a murder

This absolutely does not fall under SSC and it is dubious if it would fit under RACK, for that matter....

The real question would be, why didn't it occur to HER that it wouldn't work. I do not have my PHD, but common sense would tell me it would be better to break a window then climb up on a roof, and lower myself down a chimney... this is not rocket science..I do not know what kinda science it is, but rocket science it isn't

Status: offline 		Insufficient info. I'm guessing she was pounding on the front door and walked away when he didn't let her in. Then while she was searching for a ladder in back, he took advantage of her supposedly leaving and fled.

I would suggest he sue her estate for the cost of all household repairs. Rebuilding a masonry chimney is not cheap.
