You just love showing off your reading comprehension issues. Dontcha?

I did miss that you were trying to defend Castro in your feigned ignorance earlier. But the Castro thread is down the Hall.

You just need that derail dontcha?

Very imformative tazzy.

I like how it notes that the Democrat govenor could not even get into the finals.

Whitman had to step in and try to fix it.

And that it was the teachers who refused to go along.

It was a 400 million dollar mistake... so the conservatives would have you believe. In actuality, it was a series of mistakes and dropped balls.

Actually Tazzy, the first I ever heard of it was from Democrat partisan o59.

Unless you are saying he is actually a Conservative trying to make Lefties look bad.

Who emphatically is asserting it was a 400 million $ fuck up by Christie and is trying to score points with it.

To hide the fact that the Previous Democrat govenor could not even get into the finals, and the Uniouns fought the reforms tooth and nail.

Great defense.......someone else was also bad.......

Prolly don`t realize it,but that`s admitting your guy also fucked up.

Sooner or later you get around from denial to admission, even un-wittingly.

luckydawg -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/11/2010 2:50:09 PM)

It's fucking hillarious to watch o59 conceed, while trying to pretend he won.

Lets step into the way back machine and visit the far off time of 3 pages ago. Post 23 to be specific.

o59 enters the thread and says,

"Oh jezzzz....the telaprompter whine.......again.......

http://www.northjersey.com/news/082410_nj_loses_race_to_the_top_money.html

"N.J. loses bid for federal Race to the Top money "

He just bungled the federal education program ,Race To The Top,losing $400 million for NJ`s schools.

He`s a big fat huge 400 million dollar fuck up.

Our dumbshit governor is..."

or post 34,

"Everyone had an equal chance to complete for the money.Every state.Christie tried and fucked up.

It was a stupid fuck up too.And they were told about it and didn`t do anything. He dropped the ball, bad. And lost us 400 million that would be going to improve our schools.

What, are the feds now going to say,..... "do over"?

Then the cry-baby-neo-cons will be crying that Obama is giving favors or some other putrid cry-baby act.

This was Christie`s fuck up and his alone. He owns it all. "

o59 apperantly thinks the readers are too stupid to see he has done a full about face.

But the really funny part, is what I have poiinted out a few times (from his own link). That under the democrat gov, the state didn't even get tot the finals.

Without teacher reforms the state could not qualify. And the Uniouns refused to go along.

Does Christie get some of the blame for the failure in a screwy policy. Yes he does, and I never said anything contrary.

But some folks will not be able to notice o59's reversal of position, those would be Democratics.

No, again things are flying way over your head.

But I've grown tired of trying to explain things to you.

You can be amusing for a short while but eventually the ignorance becomes annoying.

luckydawg -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/11/2010 3:10:50 PM)

then run along little one...

Wilbeur, edited the edit. Which is different.

But I agree it is a cheap trick whoever does it. Its lame. I never noticed Willbeur doing it before, but if so, It is lame.

Thats because I havent, and I was actually trying (and failing obviously) to highlight how gauche he was. My bad.

tazzygirl -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/11/2010 9:35:05 PM)

Actually, lucky one, i posted that because the assertion was made that one mistake cost the NJ school system 400 million dollars. It was not just one mistake.. it was many, by many people, not just by Christie. I could have seen myself supporting someone like Christie, except for one thing... the pass the buck thing.

luckydawg -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 3:43:43 AM)

Then why have you been arguing with me instead of 059? It was his point.

I guess Christie will just have to live with out your vote.

tazzygirl -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 4:11:11 AM)

The only one arguing is you. I merely provided facts.

Uh Tazzy no one has tried to make me believe anything about this except for 059. Not a single conservative.

And your information pretty much blew everything he said away.

tazzygirl -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 4:31:03 AM)

Um... try reading Christie's statement yet again.. or are you saying he, himself, isnt a conservative? Isnt Christie blaming that one person who he employed to check the paperwork, then made a mistake and used the wrong year figures? You know, those figures he wanted the federal government to call him and ask him about? Or are you under the assumption the only conservative opinion that should matter are those posted directly to these boards? Oh gee, wait, i did post Christie's comments directly to this board.

So, where is the confusion again, lucky.

domiguy -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 4:43:02 AM)

I like the Gov Christie. Straightforward kind of a guy.

He touched on a problem without addressing the long term implications, that healthcare costs are out of control.

Until this problem is taken on in a direct and meaningful manner there will be more layoffs, more unemployment and more un/underinsured people living in this country. There is no way for us to be competitive in a global marketplace let alone make an adequate wage while close to 20% of our GDP is spent on healthcare.

He might be able to speak without a teleprompter, but until people like Gov. Christe start addressing the serious need for serious healthcare reform they are doing little to help to help their fellow Americans address one of the most serious problems currently facing this nation.

luckydawg -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 5:09:16 AM)

I guess the confusion is you thinking Christie or other conservatives would have me believe something about this.

The issue was introduced to me here. In a way that is demnostrably false (thanks again for the great link you posted).

I do see your point.

But I think that if the teachers had gone along with the requirments, they could have gotten the money in the first round, and it would not have mattered at all what Christie did. He was fought tooth and nail by the Democratics and unions. I think that matters.

You don't, I get it.

tazzygirl -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 5:12:57 AM)

I never said it didnt matter. But to say that its all because of one person, then blame the federal government for not babysitting the paperwork and calling each state to double check their homework... umm... sounds a bit like mom and dad checking homework at the dinner table.

Man, or woman, up to your mistakes, thats the message our representatives need to get.

luckydawg -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 5:29:27 AM)

ok, your not gonna vote for a potential Republican candidate.

Stop the presses.

It would be nice if you held Obama and the Democratics to the same kind of standard.

They constantly whine about thier inability to pass legislation, despite having a filibuster proof Majority in both houses and the Presidency, and blame Republicans for thier failures.

But I know, it's not thier fault they can't pass bills with a filibusterproof majority.

For some wierd reason Republicans can force them to do what they want from the minority.

tazzygirl -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 8:17:18 AM)

Again, just lovely how you put words into my mouth, so to speak.

There are plenty of things about the current administration i dont like.

However, you dont see me endorcing any politician as the second coming either.

luckydawg -> RE: No Teleprompter Required (9/12/2010 2:02:05 PM)

so to speak......

What are you whining about Tazzy?

You most certainly said you would not support Christie, because of this event (the Race to the top).

I have missed you calling for the Democrats in Congress to man(woman) up and take responsibility for the outcome of thier legistlation.

And I do see you callling out Republicans to man up and take responsibility.....

You can be partisan if you like. But don't act huffy when called on it.

And why are you trying to change the terms, no one said you did think any politician was the "Second Coming".

But Liberals do love to pretend things that they can argue against.

Thats why they are gonna get thier clock cleaned come Novemeber......

What part of that statement indicates Republican or Democrat alone? I said our representatives. I have come out against Obama in regards to his laxity on illegal immigration. Or did you miss that thread?

As far as not ever supporting someone like Christie... try again. My exact comment was...

quote:

I could have seen myself supporting someone like Christie, except for one thing... the pass the buck thing.

I have seen Obama state, emphatically, that Bush and his administration is responsible for many of the financial ills that are occuring. Illegal immigration is something he COULD be doing something about.. and isnt.

I also spoke out about Obama supporting Gates because he did not have all facts in evidence. Yeah, i see myself as such a staunch supporter of Democrats that i cant see through their stupidity... NOT.
