Assume whatever you like. Youve got fingers, after youve licked them clean after extracting them from your posterior, use them for something productive.

Typical Willbeur.

Make a claim, provide no documentation, then challenge others to prove you are wrong.

Then when you are proven wrong, plainly and clearly as on the wiretap thread, you try to tap dance your way out of it.

I'm almost starting to feel embarrassed for you Willbeur.

Too bad you have never proven me wrong in anything. You are beyond embarassment.

I didn't think the NPS did crowd estimates any more. Do you have a link?

ETA: "Crowd estimates used to be provided by the National Park Service, but the agency stopped counting crowds in 1997 after being accused of underestimating the size of the Million Man March in 1995."

You and CBS are clearly wrong.

Willbeur doesn't just make up things out of thin air.

I'll vouch for his honesty and integrity.

And any minute now he is going to document his facts.

I'm not sure I'd use the word "embarrassed" when referring to those mental deficients who don't even know how to provide substantiation to their assinsertions.

I know for a fact that posters who are too dumb to find a link for their assinsertions are romantically involved with their livestock. I saw it on Fox.

There are plenty of links for my "assertions". Now back to your Georgia estate...time to mow the lower 40...feet.

OK, let's make this simple Willbeur.

Here is your quote:

The NPS estimate is 300-325 k and is substantiated by comparison to other events.

Where did you get this estimate from?

If it is true then you should easily be able to provide us with the source.

"CBS, however, emanated a much lower statistic. The statistic of CBS News was anchored in a scrutiny of the crowd photographs executed by the firm, AirPhotosLive.com. The company scrutinized the snapshots taken around noon at the crest of the event. It ascertained that between 78,000 and 96,000 supporters were at hand.

Attendees at the congregation occupied six blocks, in line with CNN. CNN associated the commission of counting the crowd to speculating on the number of jelly beans inside a gigantic jar.

ABC, meanwhile, voiced that there were in excess of 100,000 persons in the gathering. The NBC Nightly News had remarked that tens and, possibly, hundreds of thousands had journeyed far and wide to be a component of ‘Restoring Honor’.

The Associated Press (AP) bequeathed a conservative approximation. AP declared that there was an ocean of persons standing alongside each other in the congregation.

Fox News, the vociferous bastion of conservatism, labeled the turnout as considerable but didn’t release an accurate figure. Fox alluded to immense crowds and the thousands at hand.

The congregation’s anchors were Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin and they mentioned lofty estimates for the day. The Facebook page of Sarah Palin asserted that the affair magnetized an approximate swarm of 300,000 - 500,000. Beck divulged to Fox News on Sunday that he supposed that there were between 300,000 and 600,000 attendees.

The National Park Service (NPS) used to bequeath proper estimations of crowd numbers. But this custom was discontinued in 1997 subsequent to NPS being accused of miscalculating the attendees at the 1995 Million Man March.

also CBS explanations of their figure of less than 100,000
The washington post says
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/story-lab/2010/08/how_big_will_the_crowd_be_at_t.html
The U.S. Park Police in the past 14 years has provided crowd estimates only once -- for the inauguration of Barack Obama last year. (National Park Service officials said they wanted to know whether it broke the previous record set by the 1965 swearing-in of Lyndon B. Johnson.) In 1996, Congress forced the Park Police to stop estimating crowd sizes after organizers of the Million Man March threatened to sue the agency for saying that 400,000 people had attended the 1995 event, a far smaller turnout than the organizers' own million-plus claim.

Since the inauguration, the Park Police have gone back into retirement from the crowd counting business, as the outgoing voice mail message of Park Service spokesman David Schlosser on Friday made clear: "We do not provide crowd estimates. Any you may hear may not be attributed to the Park Police or the National Park Service."

your research ability is on a level with your intellectual capabilities...ie non-existent.

"Today's rally was indisputably huge. NBC's Domenico Montanaro noted one park service official's estimate of over 300,000 but please note that the park service no longer provides "official" estimates."

Yeah, ol' Wilbur is a piece of work. I seriously doubt that he would have even the foggiest idea of where to even start searching for a wet-lab analytical technique for the determination of silicates (as, for instance, in this 2004 patent for using silicates in drilling fluid to help stabilize a borehole http://www.freepatentsonline.com/7137459.html ), which I needed to do back in 87 or so when we were using silicates to create alkaline floods as a tertiary recovery technology. Finally found one in a Soviet-era chemical abstracts publication, IN RUSSIAN. Something as simple as a google search for the Beckerhead "Restore Fear" march is way beyond him.

He simply doesn't possess the intellectual capability for such tasks, as evidenced by his inability to back up a single claim he has ever made on CM. He's a flyweight.
