What does this have to do with the Tea Party? Paladino is running as an "R" not a "T".
And Andrew Cuomo? Oh sure, another "career politician?" Like,....Daddy?
Lemme guess, "law school graduate?"

Let's see he is the choice of the Tea Party.  Since all of the Tea Party candidates are running as Republicans what's your point?

More pearls of wisdom from the "moderate independent".

Fl, so "The Tea Party" said, "we're going to take you out?"

Your so funny old Pops.

I think the point that was made is this is another fine example of the quality nut cases the Tea Party would like to see elected.

Now back to your comment Mr Moderate Independent.  What was you point that he was the Republican because he was running as one.  ALL of the Tea Party candidates are running as Republicans.  They never had the balls as a group to make a Tea Party and get themselves on the ballot nor did any of them have the guts to run as an independent.  They all latched onto the Republican Party to run.

You didn't see the Green Party trying to make their way as Democrats.  They had balls and stood up for what they believed and forged ahead on their own.  Something sorely lacking in the clamor of the Tea Party.

Fl, it sounds to me like the Tea Party is trying to "change" the Republican party from within, isn't that a "good thing" or do you like the Republican party the way it is now?

If some reporter showed up at his house and actually took photos of Paladino's 10 year old daughter, he has every right to say what he said. I thought little kids were off limits in campaigns ?

Probably not since Chelsea Clinton was referred to as "the new dog in the White House".

Where exactly did you get this information from?

It certainly wasn't from the link I posted.

This incident might just help Paladino. Maybe New Yorkers want someone who is tough sitting in that governors chair. He might just pick up some votes.

There is a difference between tough and belligerent.

This guy is another out-of-control teabagger whack job.

Popeye, if you read some things once in a while and listen to someone besides Howie Carr you might have discovered that he is endorsed by the teabaggers.

You might also discover that there is no Tea Party, it's just Republicans who think other Republicans aren't conservative enough.

But a Republican by any other name is still a Republican.

Even when they pretend they are Independents.

Rush was an idiot then as he is now.

And if someone showed up at my daughters door snapping pictures and demanding information... lets just say they wouldnt be wanting to interview me any time soon.

He over-reacted a bit... but his anger over that incident is understandable.

Paladino's campaign manager, Michael Caputo, put out a statement Thursday afternoon that reads in part, "while Fred Dicker may be on the payroll of The New York Post, his outrageous bias toward Mr. Cuomo is demonstrated again and again through his coverage of this campaign. Every political reporter and observer in the state knows his bias."
The statement expands on Paladino's complaint:

The New York Post sent a photographer to the Buffalo home where Carl Paladino's 10-year-old daughter lives with her mother. This photographer attempted to take photos of the child through the windows and subsequently attempted to follow the girl to a playground.

We believe this conduct puts Carl Paladino's daughter in harm's way, susceptible to kidnapping or sexual predators. This behavior by The New York Post and their senior political editor Fred Dicker is unacceptable. Endangering the safety of a 10-year-old child is repugnant.

While I would not put it past the Post to be that sleazy, you are quoting spin from his campaign manager.

From other sources I have seen the reporter was there attempting to interview the mother.
