tazzygirl -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (9/30/2010 8:06:03 PM)

Its a he said/she said kinda thing at this point... as are most stories.

I have yet to see the Post deny the allegations.

And, be honest, if they get the chance, they will snap a pic of the kid.

So you would be comfortable voting for a person who threatened to take someone out?

I think the Post is garbage but I would have no confidence in someone who is unable to control their temper to the point of making death threats.

tazzygirl -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (9/30/2010 8:19:59 PM)

I recall my father grabbing an Army Dr by the throat and backing him up against the wall.

I had cut my foot with a long piece of glass, and the Dr was trying to scrub the wound clean. My foot jerked and i kicked out at the Dr, actually landing a hit to his jaw. The Dr called me a fucking bitch.

I see very little wrong with a parent willing to go to bat for the safety and health of his children.

He could have chosen better words. But i wont fault him for the sentiment. How would you feel if someone was trying to take pictures of your child through windows covered by curtains? For all we know, it could have been her bedroom.

Tazzy it is Paladino's ILLEGITIMATE daughter by way of an affair, but he wanted to throw mud at Andrew Cuomo, by saying he  had an affair or three.  So what as a reporter are you going to do??  You're going to go interview the woman of the Paladino affair.  Unfortunately from what I read the daughter was photographed along with mom.  Paladino lives in a glass house, yet wants to throw stones??

Then go after the mother, the adults. What is to be gained from going after a kid other than a few more bucks? At what expense? The child is innocent of the parents affair, innocent of any wrong doing. I cannot believe anyone would actually agree she should be exploited!

Owner59 -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (9/30/2010 8:42:31 PM)

Hiding behind the UM is kinda cowardly.

tazzy I wasn't condoning the use of the photo, just pointing out the kid happened to be in the frame when the picture(s) were taken.  I put the plural in parenthetically because there are often more than one photograph taken in an interview like this.  Sometimes though, not so much, anymore.  I do not condone the use of the photo that contains the daughter btw. The Post being one of Murdoch's shit papers though, can be counted on doing the sleazy thing most of the time.

tazzygirl -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (9/30/2010 8:49:09 PM)

I see it as him protecting his child. You dont need to say um, ya know. He had already admitted to his affair. His other children had met the daughter and had established a family relationship with her. His wife knew a year ago and according to her, she has accepted the child.

The dad may very well be scum. The child isnt. And thats my point, and the point i understand about being a parent.

Its one thing to snap a picture of a child while interviewing the mother. I can fault the mother for being an idiot... but no one else. Its another thing to try and gain such a photo from behind the drapes as that is what is being alleged.

Owner59 -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (9/30/2010 9:40:41 PM)

It`s Palandinos mind that`s in the gutter.He`s the one making the implication that she needs protecting and that the Post is targeting the UM.

I see him as using his daughter to deflect his scandal.If he as you said has brought his daughter into the fold(which is very cool and admirable),then he shouldn`t take any offense at all to her being photo`d.If he was a man he`d put up or shut up in regards to Cuomo having affairs and not be so bizerk when the subject of his comes up.

If in fact the photos were taken the way Palandino says they were,that is out of bounds.

What does this have to do with the Tea Party? Paladino is running as an "R" not a "T".
And Andrew Cuomo? Oh sure, another "career politician?" Like,....Daddy?
Lemme guess, "law school graduate?"

Either you are dumber than batchit or you think the rest of us are.

they think it, I've actually got the balls to say it

Well gee Hill, Rule just said there is no "Tea Party." But, the title of his thread is "More Teabagger Craziness."

Tell you what Popeye, since you are a registered Independent, or so you say, why don't you call your local election board and tell them you want to change that and officially register for the Tea Party.

Then let me know how long it takes the person you speak with to stop laughing.

Popeye, if you read some things once in a while and listen to someone besides Howie Carr you might have discovered that he is endorsed by the teabaggers.

You might also discover that there is no Tea Party, it's just Republicans who think other Republicans aren't conservative enough.

But a Republican by any other name is still a Republican.

Even when they pretend they are Independents.

Lefty, read your post above.
What are you saying? Is there a Tea Party or is there not a Tea Party?
Must be a phantom that's got you so worried?

You know what tommorow is don'tcha? Oct 2 nd, one month to go before the voters strap the Democrats to the gurney and "put them to sleep."

I fault him completely, had he not started slinging mud none of this would have happened.

He gets no slack for his behavior.  He was the one that put the cross hairs on the fruits of his affair.

IF this had just been dragged up and made an issue I would be behind him if he beat the hell out of the reporter.

tazzygirl -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (10/1/2010 10:54:04 AM)

So its ok to exploit a child based upon the parents actions.

NOT.

No matter what, the child is innocent in all this.

Every side has bitched about the children of their candidates being used.

Yet each side is the first to use the others.

It was refreshing to see Obama not lower to this level of shitty politics.

To bad others dont seem to have the same ability to keep their noses out of shit.

flcouple2009 -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (10/1/2010 11:12:10 AM)

Yeah well,  the jack ass in question was the one that started the shitty level.  He gets to suffer for what he brought.

I have no sympathy, NONE, for his dumb ass.

No one was stalking the child, no one was questioning the child,  they were talking to the mom, his old infidelity.

To bad he was the one who couldn't his nose out of others shit.

tazzygirl -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (10/1/2010 11:47:30 AM)

Someone was there trying to take photos through the windows covered by curtains.

He never once said the "mistress" was off limits. He said the child was. Yet they tried to gain access to the daughter through a window.

Talk about slime.

servantforuse -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (10/1/2010 12:08:02 PM)

Who is the biggest thug ? Ted Kennedy who killed a woman in his car or Paladino who threatened a reporter ?

lockedaway -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (10/1/2010 12:13:10 PM)

Ted Kennedy!  The Kennedy family payed Mary Jo's family in excess of $200,000.00 to NOT perform an autopsy because they suspected she was pregnant with Teddy's (who failed out of Harvard) child.  Oh...Truman threatened a music critic who gave a negative review of his daughter's singing that when he caught up to him he would need "a new nose, plenty of beefsteak for his eyes and, very possibly, a supporter down below".  So...was Truman a thug?  Who was the only President accused of rape?  William Jefferson Clinton accused by Jaunita Broderick from Van Buren, Arkansas.

popeye1250 -> RE: More Teabagger Craziness (10/1/2010 2:55:35 PM)

Lockedaway, Ted Kennedy didn't "flunk out" of Harvard he was thrown out for cheating.
And his nephew Joe (Congressman Mass D.) crippled a young girl in a rollover accident in his jeep then years later stopped sending the check.
