"About 12:01 on the afternoon of January 20, 2009, the white American mind began to unravel."

He describes the batshit crazy of the Tea Party, and how the coming generation will see a battle between the "Grays and the Browns"- that is, the aging white Boomers and the young ascending minorities, who will reach majority status within a few decades.

What is most interesting, is that as the Grays lose power by retiring and dying off, it will be the Browns who end up paying for their Medicare and Social Security- or choosing to let them starve in a rat infested retirement home.

It had been a pretty good run up to that point. The brains of white folks had been humming along cogently for near on 400 years on this continent, with little sign that any serious trouble was brewing. White people, after all, had managed to invent a spiffy new form of self-government so that all white men (and, eventually, women) could have a say in how white people were taxed and governed. White minds had also nearly universally occupied just about every branch of that government and, for more than two centuries, had kept sole possession of the leadership of its executive branch (whose parsonage, after all, is called the White House).


It kinda diminishes the asshole's credibility. Maybe I'll give it a read when I want something to snicker at.

It was ratified on February 3, 1870.

The Nineteenth Amendment (Amendment XIX) to the United States Constitution prohibits each state and the federal government from denying any citizen the right to vote based on that citizen's sex. It was ratified on August 18, 1920.

Odd how the writer leaves out the 15th amendment.

So the words are probably quite accurate, although some peoples' virgin minds just need to run away. Tell ya what, Don't like avocados ? Here's an idea, do not eat them. If they make you sick to your stomach or some such, then go ahead and run.

When my con friends start blaming groups for this or that,I tell them that men are to blame for most if not all the world`s problems.Smoke comes out their ears.They take great offense at being lumped in with all the world`s maleficent asshole polluters,rapists,thieves,murderers and war criminals.

But the fact remains,most of the world`s jerk-offs, are men.

Tell some cons that the world would be more peaceful and healthy if women ran things and you`ll see heads explode.

Yes there are exceptions.Condi Rice the neo-con, did a lot of damage.Men and women of every racial/religious/cultural background are capable of doing great damage(and good thank God).

Look at most corporate boardrooms and you`ll see mostly white men.Women are getting in a little but its a white guy`s club.

The GOP? A white guy`s club,mostly.But saying that tho true, is somehow unfair.


Poor white people.

I don`t think the author`s purpose was to make people feel comfortable.
