Do 650cc scooters count?

2 wheels, 650cc, sure it counts. Any bike is cool, some are cooler than others.

I'm a female sub and I own a 1999 Ford Explorer Limited.
When I used to get out of my semi & get into a car I felt like my ass was dragging on the ground, at least my Explorer is a little higher off the ground. And as of this April it became mine, mine, mine all mine, title & all LOL

"Am I reading this correctly? What exactly do you mean by "no Dommes are comfortable drivers"?"

Well, you're not reading it as intended, but that means that I wasn't clear in what I wrote. What I should have said, is of the half a dozen or so dommes that I have met personally, none of them seemed to be comfortable drivers. I was NOT inferring that ALL dommes are not comfortable behind the wheel, just on the basis of my limited sample size, it didn't seem that there was a strong preference for automotive exotic machinery. While it's possible that I found the 6 (give or take, I didn't count them up) dommes that aren't comfortable with cars, I think it's more likely that the automotive preferences of dommes probably follows the larger population of women. (Geography matters, some of these women were from the NYC area- not well known for auto enthusiasts.) There have also been some postings from dommes which show a lack of familiarity with cars. Thus, if there were a definitive statistical survey, I'd bet that the findings would be that there will be some dommes that certainly enjoy cars, but they'll probably be in the minority.

Cheers,

Sam

Samboct, I think that your location is probably why you haven't met many Dommes who are comfortable with cars, I know quite a few folks in the NYC area who have never even owned a vehicle, and never plan to.

If you were to come out to the Southwest, I'd imagine that your view might change. Out here, with grocery stores sometimes being 45 miles away, having a car is necessary, and most women I know can at least change a tire.

Just from this small sample i can see that my hypothesis is blown out of the water.  I actually figured as much, but this is a good discussion.

As for me and wife we have three cars that are tagged and insured.  Her car is a 2011 mustang, v6, but has 305hp, manual trans.  I drive a 92 acura with 270k miles, manual trans.  And a 99 ford diesel dually, manual trans.  Gotta have a truck, might as well make it a BIG truck.  Also have a couple project cars for the track, but i wont bore you with the details of those.

As for our orientation.  Well i can tell you how id like it to be, but it wouldnt be entirely true.  We are working on it.

Most of the time I drive a sexy little black Mazda Speed 3 I got a couple years ago. It's pushing 80k miles. I love to drive and special ordered it with everything I wanted and a few extras. One of my must haves, was the manual transmission but also the smancy sound system and leather.

My other set of wheels is a 1996, extended cab, Dodge 4 wheel drive truck. Love that truck. Still mad at GD for messing up the driver's side by letting a deer ram, and tumble down, the side one morning last fall. Fortunately it's just cosmetic and not worth fixing. My son keeps wanting to but he is too busy building custom cars worth hundreds of thousands to mess with my old truck. Right now he is in Peru with the 69 Cuda type S......I sooooooooooooo want to take that for a spin when it is finished and back in the States.

I don't think there's any link between orientation and car preference. But what the heck, I'll play. I'm female and submissive.

I've always been a Ford/Lincoln girl.

Had a beautiful '78 T-bird when I was in my early twenties, and I'm now on my second Continental; I love them.

My little dream fantasy weekend car would be a 1964 1/2, Red Mustang, if I had the $$ to buy one.

Cool is in the eye of the beholder.... although I've rarely seen a truly 'cool' moped.

95 Corolla.  I'm a male Dom who lives kinda simply.

I'm with you. Well, not the male Dom part. I have a 99' Corolla with 180K+ miles on it. Still runs great, clean engine and all that. It's my experiment to see how long I can keep it going.

I had 210K on the first 97 Avalon when the mule deer ran into it. *Snif* I still miss that car. I had an awesome sound system in it, and it drove like a sports car. I am a dyed in the wool Toyota fanatic. Kaliko, if you take good care of it, you could have 3-400K on it. I always get amused at folks who are worried about their cars crapping out at 100K...a Toyota is just well broken in at that point!

I have two auto's, since I live in Michigan a summer car and a winter 4wd truck. A 1968 Lotus Elan roadster that I have owned a bit over 30 years and a 2008 Ford ranger PU that I bought when I moved here from California. A side benefit is that the Lotus is very realible and cheap to operate and since it can be insured as a Classic my auto insurance is a fraction of what I paid in Calif.

The reason for the Lotus is I fell madly in love with Diana Rigg when she played on the Avengers TV show in the 1960's and this is the same type of car that she had.

LOL That so reminds me... Way back when, just about after covered wagons, I read about mopeds. I told my soon to be ex husband he could have the house and all in it if he bought me one of those new things I saw advertised. At the time I only saw one other one in the year I played on it. I went to get pizza one night and the pizza place was by a biker bar. I was a little timid parking and going in and was hoping I would get out of there before anyone saw me. No such chance!

A big ol biker walked around my moped... ready to give someone hell.. but a cute little blond chick with pizza walked out. He looked me up and down and gave a funny little smile. "I was going to have a little fun with you, but you've got guts." I just smiled.

Everywhere I went people circled back to see that odd little thing I was riding. No one knew what it was. It was fun to ride around on especially on PCH... and there were some good vibrations!

I don't see how orientation has to do with car preferences.

I cannot have the car I would like due to where I live. I live in a nice area, but I have no garage, so have to park on the street.

Because it is a nice area, there are many, many car thefts. I have had 3 cars stolen, 2 broken into and one totalled over the years. But that is the way it is in this nice section; thieves know where to come.

My dream car would probably be a bottle green Jaguar with champagne beige interior or a silver Bentley with a really, really hot driver.

I also am hot for Harley's; although the helmet ruins the hair.

I can't wait till somebody says "Fiat".

Edit: I live in a city where quite a few people don't have cars, since parking is complicated and you can get places faster by foot/train. (The rent/cost of living makes up for it tenfold.)

But I do like cars. If I had to pick, it'd be a dark European model. Like a black Audi.

(No, not a dark-haired French girl... )

I'm a  switch, I drive a 98 honda civic for its cheap maintenance and good gas mileage. I will drive this car into the ground.

If I could afford it, I'd love a jaguar XKR black pack..in black, and the convertible, of course! Oh, and can I have the mechanic to go with, please?
