There is a small but present population of men who's foreskins don't retract well, either because the hole in the foreskin is not large enough to allow it to slide under the head when the penis is erect, or because of skin adhesions. As they grow older, these men might suffer pain and disfiguration if the problem is not corrected. The most common correction is circumcision, although there are a variety of other methods to ease retra as they The real issue seems to Me to be one of personal choice, and on some level choice you make for your infant sons. Do you want your little boy to look like daddy? Do you circumcise for religious reasons? Do you abhor "tampering" with nature (in which case I assume your dogs have tails, and undocked ears, and NONE OF YOU pierce anything at all..its "unnatural", you know). -E. (BTW - I have two friends who were circumcised as adults. IT HURTS. If you are going to make the choice for your son, at least do it at an early age, when ostensibly it hurts less.)

Two of my cousins who weren't circumsised as babies had to have it done later - one at 9 and one at 13. This was one reason I decided to have both my boys done. Our doctor said there was a genetic component to the problems that can occur with foreskin around early adolescence, so we went with that advice. We were about 50/50 on the issue before hearing that. Another interesting story. A family friend had it done at 16 due to medical reasons also. He had been sexually active for a few months before it occured, so he has some opinions on the matter. Apparently, sex is better without foreskin (cleaner, she likes it more, condom was easier to use, etc). But masturbation was better WITH foreskin. Therefore, his advice (tongue in cheek) was if you have an ugly baby, leave him his foreskin. It'll be a nice little treat for him down the road when he's single and jerking off all the time. I always try to tell myself I am indifferent on the issue, though whenever I use a cut slave I always feel that there is something missing. Apparently the British Medical Association is against circumcision other than on medical grounds and they see no benefit whatsoever in doing it for preventative reasons. It is an unnecessary medical procedure and it is easy to see how it could be extremely traumatic to the child. It is totally untrue that a cut cock is more hygienic than a uncut one all you have to do is wash it like any other body part. I don’t see where people are coming from with the condom is easier to use argument, its not as if it is like trying to do a rubik’s cube or something. It is not only that it is easier for a man to masturbate with a foreskin it is also easier for people to masturbate him it and it makes a penis such a much more versatile toy, I obviously have no practical experience on this one though apparently the extra skin makes it so much easier on a woman when having sex.

Besides, circumcision at an early age is the WORST time to do it for a number of reasons. The foreskin of an infant does not retract - it is actually bonded to the glans similar to how a fingernail is bonded to the fingertip - and must literally be torn away. Is it really a good idea to traumatize a newborn with this type of intense pain, usually without anesthesia? Also, since the penis of an infant is small and not fully developed, it is difficult for the "surgeon" (usually some clueless med student) to judge exactly how much skin to remove (causing "hairy shaft syndrome"), or worse, to injure the underlying tissues (causing "banana penis"). Obligatory comment relevant to the original discussion: it would be nice to give my mistress the gift of a foreskin for her to do what she wishes, but that choice was taken away from me. I'd love to see the look on my mother's face when i explain this to her, and the fact that i might never meet the dominant of my dreams because of it.

how would you know a cut cock is cleaner than not since you have none to compare by. Skin or no prolly does not have any affect on STD's or not. you know.. there are foreskin restoration procedures. you may not get the nerves back, but you can restore enough foreskin so your head is always covered which will heighten your sensitivity after a while.

How would I know? Because I'm in the medical profession and because I read medical journals.
