ORIGINAL: rulemylife You can have him. But tell me Firm, how do you seriously defend his remarks? He is afraid to board a plane with Muslim passengers, he says that other blacks are "ignorant, oversexed, and violent". Are these views you support as well? Oh see, you took 4 words out of context and they now have a completely different meaning. He did NOT say other blacks are "ignorant, oversexed and violent". What he said was he understood O'Reilly's grandmother's opinions because they came from what she saw and what she saw was what she knew. "After watching all those racist, minstrel images of black people, I argued, she is right to buy into stereotypes of blacks as ignorant, oversexed and violent." Context makes all the difference in the world. There was no bigotry in his statement. Uh..........if you go up to #32 you will find I posted the exact quote. So how am I taking it out of context? You can also read the link that contains his whole article, but apparently you did not bother reading the thread and probably only saw my post scrolling by and decided to offer your opinion.
