You know, I can't believe I actually read through this entire thread (proof that I *AM* a masochist) and I went back and looked at your original post.
Aside from all of the huge snafus that you have typed your way into in this post, here's the biggest thing that stands out for me: you're so focused on attracting a dominant, as your thread title suggests, when it should be the opposite. How can you make YOURSELF more attractive to a dominant. I have an honest answer for you, if you opt to read it.
The best Dommes that I've ever played with--I didn't need to attract them. They aren't wide-mouth bass. But I can tell you this...they were watching. They watched me as I assisted others....they watched how I served soda/water behind the bar at the dungeon....and respectfully treated their subs, remembered how they liked their drink, and respectfully cared for their helmets and leathers behind the bar. They watched how I DM'd.....watched how I treated ALL dungeon guests--slaves and masters/mistresses.... with respect and dignity--even when a few acted like jackasses. When my shift was over, they watched me play, saw what I could do...what I could take....what I was capable of....and I suspect, imagined what the possibilities were.
THAT is how I, as you put it, "attracted" a Domme. I walked the walk, talked the talk, worked hard and played harder. When I approached a Domme, and she expressed a desire, that's when I realized that she had been watching. Our behavior, our deeds, and yes, sadly for you, our posts, reflect who we are. It's like one giant job interview where we are never out of the spotlight, and those Dommes....those Mistresses....those Tops....they watch. they observe. and yes....they REMEMBER everything.
Today I'm single--times have changed. Most of the dungeons where I worked are gone. Now the internet has made my intimate, underground world that once required careful screening to enter---accessible to anyone and everyone with a server and a credit card. It means that Dommes now have to work harder to weed through lots of unwanted moronic advances, pointless banter, inappropriate photos and people with less than noble intentions.....just to find those of us who want nothing more than a loving woman with eye for detail, a firm hand and an intellect and wit that keeps us honest and on our toes.
I never had lots of money. My looks are average for any 40 year old man--maybe even a little better than most because I stay fit. Neither of those things--finances or looks--will matter to a woman of substance.
If munches aren't your thing--check out the clubs and leather functions near you--I'm sure if there are munches, there are places to play. good luck in your search--I suspect you may need a new screen name and a tabula rosa.
