UmbraDomina, I'm not sure replying to the OP has relevance anymore after seeing where the thread has gone, but I'll attempt at any rate. Regarding the comments of the man who was your company (even if only momentarily), that's not now I'd choose to describe the phenomenon. I find many different kinds of women attractive so the skinny, thin, medium, thick attributes are rather moot. There are women at any point in the scale I've found attractive and others I've found unattractive. At times, when a woman is really done up and shows off her looks in a way that is overt and proud, yes, I've avoided asking her to dance, etc. There are a number or reasons for this that are quite hard to put into words. I suppose, at the most basic level, I feel someone who focuses so much on their external appearance won't have the balance I seek in a partner. This is not to imply that I don't appreciate a woman who makes an effort with her appearance, but the adage "too much of anything is too much" describes my feelings reasonably well.

Personally I find the green font difficult to read. But that's me. The one odd thing I've noted in this thread though is that everyone's told the op that the guy who said this to her is a moron and not worth her talking to. However she obviously doesn't think that or she wouldn't have asked his opinion. I doubt she grabbed a strange sub just walking by and demanded to know why she wasn't getting hit on. She chose to ask a person who she considered a friend and someone whose opinion matters to her, as otherwise she wouldn't have asked him. Now personally, I think he's wrong and that why she isn't being approached is that guys think she's above them and would automatically turn them down because they aren't in her league. And therefore are avoiding being rejected by not risking it approaching her.

Only you, Celeste.... :) To be honest, the OP's altruistic indignation got me offside from the get go. I don't trust it (altruism) but can suffer it up to a point from those peddling religion, for eg. What, are we to believe dommes aren't every bit as competitive with each other as vanilla women. Some of the very worst insults I've heard said of a woman have come from her own gender. Usually when the target is a little too shapely or tightly clad, or showing a little too much thigh or cleavage etc. And the emotions unleashed in this thread; you'd swear it was the OP being called fat. Lol, which might reasonably lead a wannabe sheep-fucker like me (apparently) to believe altruism is a domme trait.... Welcome back, topic. And yeah, fear of rejection sounds a more than reasonable explanation as to why a pretty and "too in shape" woman is getting less attention rather than more. I'd imagine it's even more intimidating when it's a male sub considering approaching a domme. Lack of "flaws" implies perfection - and no-one trusts perfect, esp when there's multiple choice in the room. Focus.

I sit back and laugh at the tactics of people. We don't like the message so we attack the messenger. What does this guys font color have to do with a damn thing.
