I miss the purple, glittery "Berry-Go-Round" body lotion from Bath and Body Works.  It was advertised for kids, but that stuff smelled awesome!  I made my last bottle last for quite some time after they discontinued it, but that was at least six years ago.  It smelled just like Hi-C.

GT racers.  At least I think that was their name...  Sleds that looked kinda like snowmobiles, had a ski that could turn so you could steer....  I think I was about 8 when they were cool...  We destroyed a few, playing bumper cars on the hill...

Yours,

benji

I have one of those!  So do my sister and brothers.  We got them when I was about fourteen.  They still make them, at least as of last winter.  I don't think they were called the same thing, though.

BreakingGlass -> RE: What do you miss? (4/28/2006 8:46:39 PM)

I remember bouncing on these was a lot of fun.

I also remember getting grass burns from sliding off the edge of a Slip N Slide...

I miss Fruit Roll-Ups the way they used to be...plain, simple, just a square of fruity paste stuff. Now, they're all complicated, with cut-out piece and tie-dye colors and tongue tattoos that appear when you eat them. I miss Crystal Pepsi. But I especially miss Star Trek: The Next Generation on TV. ::sadly holds up her can of Diet Coke:: This one's for you, Data.

CERCKL -> RE: What do you miss? (4/28/2006 10:48:55 PM)

I miss My father and the potential of ever knowing who he was...I would like to miss my last image of him; on his side, dirt on his face from falling onto the wheelbarrow before the ground and the thin deep red trickle of blood from his partially open mouth...the pale glow of a streetlight illuminating him. In 26 years, I still have not made it to the mauseleum he is in...

Thats quite an image Cerckl, must've been hard to see too i'm very sorry you had to go through that.

I think its cool how so many people miss their fathers/mothers. I'm no exception.

I miss my dad, my sister, and my grandma.

I miss Aspen soda - that stuff was great.

Whenever I go into a 7-11 store, I'm always looking for a milkshake candybar, which I don't fine nearly often enough!

orokana -> RE: What do you miss? (4/29/2006 1:43:28 AM)

I miss Ms. Pip's Pretzel Chips...

I miss Psycho le Cemu (a favorite band of mine, currently on their farewell tour).

rivenmoon -> RE: What do you miss? (4/29/2006 4:27:32 AM)

Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.............
The sixties,
Green Apple Shampoo,
Remember Laugh In?
Playing out on the front lawn in your shortie pj's of a summer evening because the house was to hot.
When the milkman delivered and so did the baker.
You all knew who lived in your neighbourhood.
When a job could be secure until retirement.
When you pulled in to have the car fueled up, someone would do it for you plus wash the windshield, check the oil and the tyres.
Authority was given respect and teachers could use corporal punishment.
You ate ice-cream and didn't feel guilty.
Was it an illusion or did life really move at a slower pace????

MHOO314 -> RE: What do you miss? (4/29/2006 4:56:02 AM)

I miss My mom.

Being the center of the universe for someone--hmm is that a miss or a need, well whatever.

I miss gas at 3 gallons for a $1.00! (you youngsters!)

I miss My Dad.

I miss the real Mission Impossible, and the Man from Uncle.

I miss John Wayne, Lee Marvin,  Bobby Darren, Selena.

I miss home, New Orleans--whole, bad, good, warm, filled with sights sounds and laughter.

I miss...
