I know its easier to write a profile or a want ad, if you know what you want. Iam not entirely sure what I want.

So any suggestions to clarify the want ad for a guy who doesnt know what he wants, would be helpfull - maybe you can tell me what I want.

Status: offline 		List words of things or activites you are interested in, your location (roughly) age, height, weight, anything you are very opposed to, your "vanilla" interests and then tie it all together.
Having photos accepted is a long and very odd process that no one can really explain. Just keep trying and being patient and good luck.

I re-submitted my photo this morning ... My profile went 'pending approval' my profile is now back but still no picture...

Time for a new keyboard - Ive worn this one out..

Just a quick interjection here.  I am reading Aakasha's post to indicate that you seem to be only interested in your fetishes.  In vanilla language: 
"But enough about me...Tell me, what do you think about my idea for blah, blah, blah...." indicating initially that you are now ready to move the conversation to focus on the other party, but you still make it about you.  Got it?
She made a comment about including a photo of yourself in hockey gear, to which you replied you no longer play but added that your photo was a really cool "mummification" photo.
Frankly, to Me, your profile reads like a "will travel for kink".  I don't see anything regarding a relationship or any dedicated submission that doesn't scratch your own fetishy itch.
That is fine, if that is what you seek, but you are unlikley to find a lifestyle Domina who is open to that sort of "when I am town, let's play" mentality.  If this is what you are after, you may still wish to invest some time in a friendship of sorts, so that the Lady is open to occasional casual play.
I am not sure a mummification pic is going to be approved.  You might want to consider a nice, candid G-rated photo.  Save the mummification shot for a Lady who is interested and willing to accept such as an attachment to an email.

Status: offline 		Thanks, Thats a fair assessment. I am willing tobe serious and think about them scary life altering and life long committments, but I dont know how to express that without sounding like a mail order bride  ... I really would like to have someone to wake upto each day... Iam almost 40 and never married, Ive been alone most of my adult life, and Ive long ago gotten tired of being alone.

Ideally I would like to be able to meet someone for dinner or drinks - whatever - and make friends. If that develops into a play relationship, thats fine, if not, Ive meet someone new, who hopefully will become a friend. Ive been too focused on finding a play partner, rather than a partner I can play with.

Thanks for your critism, I'll try not to be self-absorbed...

Looking to make new friends, as events unfold, we'll find the label for it. I am single, no kids, no baggage, standard emotional scarring from normally traumatic life. Willing to make those scary life altering commitments should events warrant. I am a computer nerd, so technical pursuits tend to absorb most of my free time.

Status: offline 		Honestly, WeeIttyBitty, this new version doesn't sound much different from the original.  I see a bit of humor and feistiness creeping in, but it reads like a telegram or a personal ad where you are trying to save money by dropping anything conversational.
Still on the "friends track", as opposed to being serious about a relationship that inlcudes your submission.  You remain focused on the fun and play.
A final note would be that a defensive reaction and a dismissal of the the other Ladies comments, regardless of how you take those comments, indicates you are still on the fast track to fun, fun, fun, as opposed to submission, submission, submission.
I am always wary of a boy who has a need to bite back.  But you should do your own thing.

Its a tough bit of writing, more so, when my thoughts about a long term relationship really havent crystallized into a definitive picture of what that relationship would look like. Sometimes I feel like a zombie, where my whole life disappears into a haze, while the few hours playing here and there constitute the whole of my existence. And its that existence, that I want to over-write the zombie zone with.

I'll have to think more about what I want in a long term relationship.
