My hair tends to fall out more if it gets longer - hypothyroidism and it's very heavy. I miss my long long hair and I miss the feel of twisting it up into a big bun on top of my head. But I rather like not being bald.

Kana's rule for hair-It need be long enough to wrap around my hand at least once for yanking purposes (and cuz gals w/long hair are hot*), but, seeing how she's gonna be spending the majority of her "free time" on her knees, not long enough to brush the floor.

*Course, one of the reasons that long hair is hot is that it's utterly frivolous. Long hair means she has to take extra time purely for the purpose of looking ornamental. Dear Gawd, I love objectification)

This probably sounds bitchy but I don't care what he wants, I am *not* ever going to have short hair. No no no no no.

However since he attended the same school of hair that Kana did apparently, I am not going to worry about it..lol.

I have very strong feelings about my hair. I want it long, and it's more practical that way since I can put it up and get it off my neck, or wear it down.
I also have very strong feelings about him. If he wanted it cut, cut it would be. It would mess with my head, but I'd adjust.
Happily, he likes it long as well. Yay!

I shave my head with home barber shop. Saves money... no shampoo, no combs, no inflated barber prices. All good.

I make the decision regarding the hair length which I have a preference for long hair, but I also love the short spiky hair style on a woman too. It has to suit her so would rather spend the couple of hundred dollars to have it styled to my liking from a top professional.

There was a point in my life it was down to my knees, another point where I took a straight razor to my scalp, i have had it to every length inbetween as well. Now I keep it short, but it is long enough to grab and hold onto or pull. My hair has been several colors from jet black to white. It is a reflection of me, where I am at in my life. Plus the reality is I dont want to be micromanged by my owner. To me that isn't powerful, its not sexy. Although before doing something drastic I will always tell my owner or partner what my plans are. Lol

When My partner has been in my life longer then Ive spent growing my hair out and maintaining it.... currently, nearly 10 years, he can have a choice....until then me and my hair which is currently past my waist, have had a longer relationship with me.

I've always had longer hair. Master would prefer it be down to my waist but he's realistic about life too. I have thick, heavy hair that holds water. So, even with it at shoulder length it takes half an hour with a blow dryer. If I don't blow dry it will be wet until 4 or 5 hours later.

Master has decided that he'd rather I spend time with him rather than time alone in the bathroom with my hair, so he allows me to choose the style as long as it doesn't go above shoulder length.

I can imagine in the right context it could feel powerful.

I've had short hair once. I looked awful in it, and it wasn't just me who thought that. So it was one of the many questions I asked, when getting to know the Man. He likes my hair length and wants to keep it there. Works for me.

That said, he would like it blonde, rather than it's current dark color. This kind of freaks me out. My hair stylist says she won't do it, ha ha ha. She knows I'll look horrible and washed out. The man says it can wait for now.

Like Aqua said, he has....um...."different" fashion tastes than I do, which has left me feeling slightly frantic on more than one occasion while shopping together. So...my hair style will remain...it's color...well...might not.

Shave their monkey, trim or shave their head . . . it all pretty much the same act of control. If you "own it", you can have any style you want.

I can see how it can be powerful, but I don't think it would be for me. I'm way too picky about my hair and would be no fun about it. And I'm not willing to let anyone dictate my appearance in general, so there's that, too.

Now, if they had a head-shaving kink, I'd probably be cool with that. I have a thing about keeping my hair as short as I can, so we'd probably be a good match.

I am not allowed to get my hair cut other than a bit trimmed from the end when needed. I have hair that reaches my butt. My Sir insists I wear it long. However when we go out in public I have to put it up in a clip to hide it's length. He doesn't like other men seeing how long my hair is and admiring it. Whatever floats his boat. lol

When i first met my 2 MASTERS, my hair was shoulder length and was often pulled back in a pony tail. Probably the 1st order they ever gave me was to get a buzz cut. The joke was THEY did not want my hair getting stuck in a zipper. Went right to the barber and never gave it a second thought
