quote:
ORIGINAL: SleazeMerchant I never ran from my own words, you seem to just make stuff up and fling it at me. Why don't you back up your statements with quotes? Oh right, because I never actually said the things you think I did. quote:
ORIGINAL: SleazeMerchant Whats your point? Are you trying to point out more examples of Einstein being wrong or what? quote:
Whats your point? Are you trying to point out more examples of Einstein being wrong or what? Those were your words, yes? why, yes, they were. quote:
It's inaccurate to say that science comes up with new answers to old questions that we thought we already knew the answer to, because it implies that we were totally wrong. More words of yours. Now you are claiming that science isnt "totally wrong". Just partially because they dont have all the information. Yet, above that post, is the one of you claiming Einstein was wrong. quote:
ORIGINAL: SleazeMerchant And an appeal to authority is a logical fallacy; smart or not, people can be wrong and people can make mistakes. Huge mistakes. Take the cosmological constant Einstein incorporated into his model of general relativity. He made a huge mistake in doing that, and why? Because he didn't like that his theory said that the universe should be expanding, so he made it so it said that it didn't. *shrugs* And again, another stating Einstein was wrong, but excusing it as a "big mistake". quote:
Einstein was not completely wrong with his cosmological constant. And yet another saying he was only partially wrong. So, which excuse will you use now? You said he was wrong, then only partially wrong, giving excuses as to why you believe he is now only partially wrong when you stated earlier that he was wrong, no partial about it. Honestly, own your own words. quote:
The comment was made that Einstein was wrong. The comment was made by you.
