uumm....fix ONE of them??? and why exactly would you need your ID, wallet, etc..if you're out biking or hiking or whatever of that nature? Planning on stopping at the post office while out hiking? I mean when I'm out biking or hiking I usually wanna go home and actually grab the package, take a shower, etc...before running all my little errands.

err...because when I bike or hike I'm usually a complete wreck afterwards...sweaty, dirty, muddy, exhausted..and I'm not gonna lug packages with me on my bike while I'm sloping down the side of a mountain.

I have to give up my name, address, phone number, and I.D. when I ship stuff (granted it's international) and sometimes my passport info. Nobody gets a surprise because I have to write the contents on the package. Meh. U.S. policies are fairly weak compared to the policies of other countries. In Singapore you can't even send a letter internationally without customs reading it. One letter takes 2 weeks just to leave the country. sunshine
