I was thinking more of those chicken satay things: the Thai chicken kebabs covered in peanut sauce?

Coincidentally, I'm making chicken sheek kebabs for dinner tonight.

Woooooo ... spooky. PA will think there's some sort of global kebab conspiracy if we're not careful

Which brings us back to full circle- in that according to you the certain party will save you.

When did I say that?

What bearing do either of your comedy parties have on a protest about half of the UK coalition government?

The fact that the proles won't be able to afford to pay the tuition fees was the initial excuse for the protests, you idiot. have you read any of this thread?

Moon- take a really good look.

This is what your New World Order looks like.

-- and why the fuck wouldn't an MIT class have any merit?
You are trapped thinking in a box - when the system that box represents is dieing.  And it has EVERYTHING to do with the 4 generation cycle.

Have you not talked to grandparents and elders?      This is why the world is in bad shape. No one values the elders in society.

LISTEN to your elders.  I mean those who lives thru crises periods.

You can do as you want- but nothing will change that the cycles of the generations are in motion- and come what may- either adapt or be consumed by it.

Your ball.

PA, no one is able to make sense because you are still talking in that box and not explaining yourself.

What matter?

Honestly, pa, you are once again making no sense. I explained how many find themselves in the financial mess associated with student loans. Something you failed to address.

Its not always the schools fault and there are cheaper ways to get an education besides the Ivy League schools.

The broken UK  University system.  How does it get fixed?

A basic question.

It doesn't. If it did, he'd be able to recognise that he was talking a pile of irrelevant shit, wouldn't he?

It's even funnier than that:

Quelle anarchist.

Although I note that his biological father is actually Heathcote Williams, not Dave Gilmour.

How did you get that from anything I've said in this thread, you moron?

Pah, we have arguably the best universities in the world. It is certainly a matter of opinion, hence me saying arguably, but though people may disagree about which're the best worldwide, anyone who knows what they're talking about would put us there or thereabouts. Your mistake (one of your mistakes, leave it be, ya know what I mean) is the whole 'failing' part. The protests are arguing about how to pay for Uni, no-one is suggesting that the system is 'broken' or whatever.

tl;dr - you're talking utter nonsense as usual.

You lack even the most basic of reading comprehension skills.

That’s in addition to being dangerously deranged, of course.

I would be very interested to know where he's got the idea that I'm talking up either of the two American political parties, or saying that the youth should be stuck with the bill for his generation wrecking the global economy, for a start.

Woody-- tripling of the fees is a problem.

What good is it if no one can afford to go there?

Have you attempted to answer any question you've been asked in this thread, rather than claiming the poster said something completely unrelated to what they said?

Moon- try to focus on the topic- the big picture.

3x the fees is an outrage.  It means the system is broke.  It is not business as usual.

It means everything changes.

That isn't the topic. The topic was violence at the protests about a tuition fee raise which wasn't close to a tripling of the fees in most cases.

As you appear to be too stupid to grasp this, I'll put it in simple terms for you. The fee raise has nothing to do with the strength (or otherwise) of the pound. Fees are being raised because the Government has cut funding to the universities. Thus this isn't proof that the pound has sank forever, however much that you'd like it to be. The raise in fees bears no relations to the international value of the pound, which hasn't dropped to a third of its value since last week.

Simple enough for you to get your pointy little head around, or do I need to put a video explaining it with puppets in monasyllables on youtube for you?
