Here's a question for you all to play with....... How important is a potential sub/slave's colour, race and/or ethnisticity to you deciding to lock a collar about her throat? C'm on folks, females, fellas and bald iggles fess up.. Just how much does this affect you choices.....Just immaging y'all have a football field packed with suitable collering material......

Since the vast majority of women I meet are white, it is hardly an issue of choice, though I have had a black partner and my current play partner is Japanese but it is hard to meet anyone other than a Japanese person in provincial Japan where we met.

I think it would be less of an issue in a household like ours, where we're accustomed to having a variety of races, genders, cultures, etc., in the household, and where service isn't about physical attraction. Human beings are an inherently judgemental species, and, in particular where physical attraction and romantic involvement are attached to a decision, I can see personal preferences in attraction playing a much larger part in the selection process -- and I don't think anyone, myself included, would claim that there aren't some body types, racial characteristics, hairstyles, skin colors, and general physical traits that we are more attracted to than others.... so it all depends on why you're looking, and what you're looking -for- as to what the answer might be. For us, we're looking for short-term, highly service-oriented and -not- sexual or romantic or particularly BDSM/scene/play oriented individuals... any gender, race, culture, or appearance could fit the bill. This is something I've pondered over quite a few times. I 've mentioned it in other threads and while I don't like the idea I'm trying to seek out 'exotic' women, it is something I've tried to analyse myself about and I can't really be certain I'm being honest with myself about. There is no doubt there is an attraction in finding someone a little different. I don't like the idea I could be so shallow but maybe I am.

There is a pretty wide range I am attracted to. Race matters not-so long as they don't hold a victim complex over it-then it does. And ethnicity matters only so long as it is tied to some equally ethnic-and intolerant religion.

As far as the OP question, I've not considered those things to be significant factors....people attract or repel me with their words, ideas, and behaviors. I'm quite used to looking past exteriors.

(Oh good God here comes WWIII.) I could care less based on what's inside, we are all the same. However I do fully admit that based on skin color in one regard I do have a preferance. While I freely admit that this could get one killed by the P.C. police it doesnt change the fact as one who has a major spanking fetish I like to see marks. I once had the pleasure of administering a spanking to a lovely very dark skinned beauty and it was great, except that when done I could not see much evidence of my handiwork. And to take it one step futher there is a bit (to put it mildly) of an uncomfortable feeling within me if I were to be with an African American in this context. Something about whips/chains and the term's Master/Mistress/slave is just not easily dealt with in our country for some people.
