Ed, You know what? FET has a point here. If You express a differing opinion on collarme, You may well catch flak for it (and particularly if You adopt the sort of condescending, Domier-than-thou attitude that You do in Your OP). But since You're a grown man whose entire life doesn't revolve around what people say about You on the internet, You should be able to take it. Right?

Ed, i think You should get kudos for going out on a limb, telling it like it is; or, at least, telling it like it is for You. That part i admire about You. No, i really do. You said what You really thought instead of what You thought people wanted to hear. You were honest. i think that's commendable.

But by the same token, every single other person here has that same right. To say what THEY think. You expressed some pretty strong opinions, right? Expect the same from other people. You can handle that, right?

People talk about the "clique". If there is one, i'm not in it. But in my short time here, what i've seen is this: people who are violently arguing in one thread can be agreeing in another. That goes for the long time posters as well. A while ago this guy started a thread who's on absolutely everybody's friends list. But people had strong opinions about what he said, and they disagreed. You will see people who are good friends strongly disagree with each other, from time to time. And that's okay, right? Because we're all adults and realise that it's a forum, and that everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Ed, people disagreed with You. So, whatcha gonna do? Are You gonna go crawl under a rock and cry? Are You gonna examine Your beliefs long enough to ask why, why, did so many people disagree? Or are You gonna say, fuck it, i stand behind what i say, even if almost no one else does!?

Whatever You do, i will do You the justice to say this: at least You had the balls to start Your own thread, instead of trolling other peoples', like SOME.

~FR~ also...umm...that isn't a trailer...unless he took the trailer picture out...most 'homes' trailer or not don't have on the wall soap dispensers, and cards on the back of the door (very probably explaining check out times and procedures...he is a ruck driver and i will almost bet that is a motel room.

His original post on the 17th had different profile pictures. It was a trailer. Obviously over the course of 4 days he took 10 seconds and changed them.

Wow. I can't believe anyone is still wasting time on this. 2 things. 1st, it's the sleeper berth of a 2007 Freightliner. I took the pic shortly after getting it. 2nd, this started as a bet. If I have only 1 talent, it's that I can piss people off without trying. 1 of my friends commented to the other 1 that if I actually made any effort at it I could probably start a fight in an empty room. They bet a buck & you can guess who won. So I made a statement of mostly (not all) my opinions, called it all fact, threw in a couple of generalized insults, a little bad sarcasm (that last part about what subs think), stirred gently & voila! I expected a heated dicussion & a little animosity. I got more than a little. What really surprised me, however, is the assumptions & suppositions in some of the attacks. I don't know where most of that came from. There's no evidence in the original statement to support most of what was written. Anyway.... To those who were truly offended, hey, sorry dudes & dudettes. If any good came of this (like someone examining what he/she thinks) I can live with that. I didn't intend it, but ok. Like I said, it was a bet. So, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas & try not to waste any more time on this. It's not worth your effort.

In other words, you were either a liar then or you're a liar now. Which is it?

Odd that you set up the whole thing by writing up your various journal entries and such that you have since wiped out. I can't imagine My life being so empty that I would spend an effort on various days to write entries to set up a prank over the dispute of a dollar. I can't speak for other Dominants, but I'm not so easily swayed as to be taken to suggestion to write up 'oh poor me' type entries to make Myself look pathetic and then erase them once people noticed. Different strokes and all that, I guess.

I'm glad you won a whole dollar. Buy someone a Christmas present with it who is important in your life.
