i don't think i've ever had a man cook for me. Ever. How sad is that? i'd say, if he at least makes the effort then that's a big plus in my book. Even if it's inedible.

DS, I am not reading this monster you spawned, but you my buddy kinda so I tell you this. If you're already good, this will get them to jump in the bed faster than a flash flood. Ground fennel, and if you have the finesse, just a bit of ground anise. Yes my dude, that is the secret, but use it sparingly, it kills the tomato flavor if you put in too much. T

Well, it is always refreshing to find out virtues you're not used to in other people. However, I have to stop and say that I seriously, honestly, definitely believe that spaghetti is the most romantic and delicious thing you could have cooked for her. It is delicious, and it speaks wonders of a man. Since I like to cook and often enjoy doing it for my family, I don't usually feel impressed by a man who can cook, unless of course, he does it better than me. Still, I like someone who can survive by himself. I'd say, if he scrambles eggs, it's done. Cocktails are another thing...

Well, it would take more than spaghetti and meatballs to impress me that he was a great cook, but the fact that he was willing to cook for me would make me smile. When I moved in with my ex, she didn't own a stove and would not have known what to do with it if she had. Over the years she has picked up some cooking skills and can at least feed her self if she has to. That's pretty much all I ask from a partner although having one who can cook well would definitely be a bonus. My guess in the OP is that she was impressed with the fact that you went to the trouble of cooking instead of going the easy route with a restaurant. I know I would have been.[:)]

To the sexy OP, I am really a very good cook, I am one of those exotic class taking farmers market addicted organic only foodie types and I cook for him 7 days a week, so for me, a reservation at one of my favorite restaurants is preferred to him cooking for me, since I also do all of the cleanup after, so being catered to is a big plus for me. If a man wants to cook for me something decadent like a wonderful brunch with mimosas is nice though on a late Sunday morning. Then sex, before and after. [;)].

Daddy is more of a BBQ'er (and an incredible one at that, though) but does join me in the kitchen to cook with me sometimes. I'm more impressed if they do the dishes, LOL.
