Status: offline 		But, RF, lets take this a step further. If he was walking around naked, in his own house, and people took photos, they would be screaming "invasion of privacy" regardless of the fact that, in order to have said "privacy" all one needs is to drawn the blinds or close the curtains.

I dont care what anyone does within their own home. But, remember this, when all of you are claiming your privacy is just that when the world can look into your windows... Kill a man inside your home, in full view of those open windows, and see how much privacy you have then.

I do not think, on the balance of probabilities, that this was a simple "accidental" exposure, nor (despite being a fan of privacy) think that privacy rights can be used to defend that sort of behaviour.

Where did you get this wrong idea?
Some states have very few rules about purchasing guns, some states have many. But someone walking on your lawn, which is trespassing, and you shooting them will get you a jail term.

Maybe you ought to know what you're blathering on about?

I grew up on a clothing optional beach community. It was not uncommon to see guys naked except for sandals go into the grocery store. But they didn't sport hard ons and it wasn't in full view of a school bus site.

I went to Germany a lot when much younger, but I can't remember ever seeing naked people on the streets of Hamburg. Naturalist communities, sure, but the rules there are known before you enter.

Lighten up people. Seems to me he did little wrong and the judge was smart enough to see that. Next thing you know we all need to go around all covered up in a burquah.

So, you're not only cool with the fact that the problem was that the guy was exposing himself in his window to children, that the best solution is to purchase a gun and threaten them with being shot if they looked towards his house?

Did you read the article or the reference thread?  Some of these kids were seven years old.  I'd have to wonder what in the hell was wrong with any man who would rather buy a gun so he could threaten a child rather than just closing a freaking curtain.

Did you read the article or any of the other numerous articles written about this?  Who are all these children that you are talking about?  From what I read it was one woman walking her child across his lawn at 5:30 in the morning.

Why would My first post on this thread be a note of thanks for the update if I hadn't read the original?

My second post on this thread was asking if someone could post the link to the old thread because it was blatantly obvious that somebody commenting on the thread didn't know what in the hell she was talking about.

Go back to the original thread.  It shows the house and the places the accused was said to be standing.
