My question now in the middle of all the hatin(blech)........... is what is gonna happen now? Just a nutjob? so ignore it and put it down to temprary insanity and carry on business as usual?? Im beyond disgusted and way beyond angry, but truly, not surprised its home grown terrorism. Steven, Im sorry hon, but many people saw it coming. The lives of those injured and killed and their families and friends deserve a LOT more..

The local newspaper website in my area,Tampabay.com gives a pretty good story on this debate.The more I read about what this Lady has had to deal ever since Obamacare was passed in congress,the worse it gets.She has been targeted alot by the far right Teabaggers party.Her office was ramsacked back in March of last year.The guy she beat in the recent election talking about bringing guns to rallies.The comment she said on MSNBC about the map of Sarah Palin and the gunshot targets.I mean,all of this hate filled talk certainly hasnt helped.It sounds like the shooter was clearly a nutjob either way.He tried to get in the army but was denied.Gee,I wonder why. Theres another article that mentions the local Sheriff talking about the biggots and intolerance going on in America today.He basically is saying that Arizona is the capital of this intolerance.I mean,even the Sheriff can tell that the intolerance is getting to an awful point in America.Anyone with common sense can tell that is becoming very true in America today.

My sister is in Tucson and I've been hearing about this all day. People who went to high school with the shooter described him back then as "crazy" "odd" "a loner," and although his family hasn't been mentioned on the news yet, an ex-neighbor did say that they'd had to move "because of his family"--whatever that means. He was described more recently as very liberal in his views, but from what students at the college he attended said, he had even more emotional and mental problems. It sounds like there were a lot of red flags over the past 5 or so years that he had some serious problems. I feel very bad for all those killed and injured, but I'm sad that so many need to force this to be a political issue. From his writings, he had real problems or illusions about the government, and the Congresswoman represented the government. And it may be no deeper than that.

New York state has its weirdos too.Carl Paladino,the Republican who ran for New York state Governor,has said some pretty hateful words.The difference is,New Yorker rejected his ideas by a landslide.However,the fact that he won the Republican primary,makes me wonder about some so called "Republicans" in that state.

Got to say it - if I was asked, I'd be tempted to go for the option that the first post is a "statement by a nutjob moron douche bag piece of trash American too stupid to realize it". As I am not American, and I haven't been asked directly I'm not going to express an opinion. Expressing an opinion could be considered impolite of me by Americans who aren't nutjob moron douche bag pieces of trash too stupid to realize it. In my experience, the latter group of Americans comprise the overwhelming majority.

I am sure Australia is a very fine country.Hey,you all have crocodiles and Florida has its Alligators.Australia has been a very close ally of the U.S.A. for a very long time and USA tries to be a good ally to Australia.There is good reasons for that.
