There is no nice way to put this: You need much better grammar and spelling! Over My years, I have developed a rather good English-to-English interpretation system, so I was able to figure out what I believe you are trying to say. Your saying what you want in such a way that normal people can understand it is a necessity, for you to be successful.

Psst... in your last sentence... "your" should be "you're".

just sayin

If Oxford is anywhere near Atlanta, then you're golden.  Atlanta has a thriving BDSM scene.  LadyPact used to live there, and has made several posts delineating the scene there.

Quick clarification because I do not want anyone to be misled.  I actually lived in another city.  Steven is correct, however, that I was in Atlanta at least one tine a month for one lifestyle thing or another.  Sometimes for several days at a time.  I literally used to drive right past Oxford anytime that I went from one city to the other.

OP, there is a thriving BDSM community less than an hour away from you.  (Sorry, but if there is a munch in Conyers, I'm not aware of it.)  There are several munch groups.  More than enough options that just about anyone can find one that works with their schedule.

I will say that if you are 'puffing up' the amount of time that you've been involved in the lifestyle, My recommendation is don't.  Just go and say you're new.  Believe Me.  Considering the number of people who have multiple decades of experience in wiitwd, they will be able to spot anybody that isn't what he's making himself out to be.

Ah smut! I try to get the typos out... The things are, as someone once said, "Stronger than dirt!"

I hear you brother! I can always guarantee that the likelihood of my missing a typo or grammar nit trebles when I'm commenting on someone else's grammar ;-)

The irony is awful.  In the same post that I tell OP not to tell lies, I make one about LadyPact's former city.
OP, note how quickly LadyPact corrected me.  Even such a trivial mistake as this, she did not want the record incorrect.

Agreed.  And again, if your experience is online, specify that.

And I have to say, OP, you've come in and made one post and gotten numerous responses to it.  Why not stay and continue the conversation that you yourself started?

That is not a typo.  That is you not knowing the difference between your and you're.

Actually no, he used the correct "your" in that sentence.  It's phrased a bit oddly, but isn't wrong.

"Your saying what you want...is a necessity for you to be successful" is correct.  "You are saying what you want...is a necessity for you to be successful" is not.

No, Katy is right. Regardless, there should be no comma before the word "for" in that sentence.

I see what you are saying, Maxita. The problem is that it's a fragment and *in my editor mind* suggests a need for a "but + S + V" after it. You are (if I understand correctly) saying that the subject of the sentence is the experience of doing something (Your saying what you want in such a way that normal people can understand it). It just doesn't flow well - as you pointed out.

In any case, it's 1 a.m., and I must be up in a few hours. Chop chop!

Night,

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.  In my non-editor-nerd's mind it's awkwardly phrased, but technically correct.

I love grammar talk, it gets me all hot and bothered.

Not quite correct...

When I read crazyml's post, I looked at the beginning of the sentence, and agreed. I then posted that agreement. My original writing is correct, however. This illustrates why one should not "correct" one's grammar while one is engaged in other activities!
{Your saying what you want in such a way that normal people can understand it } explains what needs to be done.
{is a necessity} is the reason for doing 'what needs to be done'.
{for you to be successful} is additional data, to enhance {is a necessity}. This kind of clause requires a comma before it.

{Your saying what you want in such a way that normal people can understand it is a necessity for you to be successful.} can be misinterpreted as {You're saying what you want in such a way that normal people can understand [that] it is a necessity for you to be successful.} This does not say what I wanted to say. In this case, there is an assumed comma between 'want' and 'in', with "You're saying what you want" being the sentence, and everything else being the explanatory clause.

I write the way I speak. I "listen" to how the writing would sound, if it were spoken. Sometimes, this being one of them, apparently, I do not write in such a way that normal people can understand it. I will do My best to avoid this problem, in future.

He's going to test his skills on a salve, first.
After a few years of unbroken success, THEN he will move up to a slave---maybe. A slave is even more work than a salve!

If the salve brings salvation, then so much the better!

But, all of the holiday sales are over and you'll have to pay full price. I would suggest waiting until the next Black Friday Sale.
Maybe he thought CollarMe had a Cyber-Monday sale?

I am looking for a slave to serve me.  I have checked this site but yet to get a reply.  Can any master btell me where I can get a slave.
i am not a Master, but allow me to tell you my honest opinion.

First...you are 31 years old and  weigh a whopping 115 pounds? There is "RED FLAG" written all the hell over that. You do not state your height, so the logical conclusion is you have an illness of some sort. There are many subs/slaves who feel a Master who is not in the best of health is simply looking for a care-giver, and that makes your search even more difficult.

Secondly, if you desire a submissive, you need to be the type of a Dominant a submissive would want. The "Me MAAASTER....you sub. So submit!!" crap does not work at all, if that is what you have tried. You are a male first, and a Dominant second. She is a woman first, and a submissive second. Do not approach her as her Dominant, because you are not...nor is she your submissive. The Dom/sub relationship takes a great deal of time and trust.
