I think I see what you're saying but let me try repeating in other words to be sure. Would the following be accurate? Limits trump obedience or make it moot /irrelevant around the area of the limit and an act like face-slapping is more or less gratifiying/hot to you depending upon the slapee's reaction to it?

To me, deep obedience is very kinky in and of itself and intimately connected with hot sex. I never imagined a situation (probably becuase I don't "date" other submissives and thus lack exposure) in which the two emotional sets would be discoupled. But it makes sense that this would be so in some people.

For the most part wants are specific to an individual. General concepts such as obedience and honestly should be an understood given.

Think most people would agree that things go much deeper in reality.

That is not weird at all; I meet men who are hot as hell but if they do not have the type of communication style I like or we don't have the same things in common, what good are they? Nothing about chemistry and compatibility is written in stone, or assumptions.
