But seriously, this is one of the silliest questions I've seen so far on these boards.  Fortunately it is just so silly, it isn't as insulting as it could have been.

Its probably best to just stop looking as clearly *all* submissives *everywhere* myself included, are dishonest and incapable of being responsible adults.

There's such thing as an honest submissive, but I admit that by their nature they can often be manipulative, sneaky, and limit-testing.  Some more than others.  It's up to us to deal with their behaviours.  I struggle with honesty in my girl, and it's a huge issue of mine.  I strive for complete openness and honesty, in both directions.  I'll continue to work on this.

As for being an adult, I hope she stays little forever.

Status: offline 		John, you know what? I bet most of us who are not in relationships right now, and are looking, often have all-or-nothing thoughts running through our heads. I wonder if my wants and needs are ever going to mesh with someone else's. And there are days when I just want to scream. Some days I do scream. I just happen to scream to friends who know me, who know how long and difficult this search has been for me, and who can therefore either a) listen sympathetically and then get on with their lives; b)give me the "go get 'em" or "screw 'em" or whatever speech I need; or c) tell me to get over myself, knowing that I'll listen because I know they love me.

You need some collateral and credibility here, just like I do. This is a pretty tight group, from what I can tell, and people who storm in and vomit tend to get just the reception they could've predicted. It smells bad, and people get tired of cleaning it up.

So....are there honest subs? Yes, of course, and you knew that before you asked Are some honestly confused? Yes. You knew that too. Did any of the female subs you are addressing in this broadside hurt or lie to you or try to pick your pocket by not being "independent?" I doubt it.

Why am I talking like Donald Rumsfeld? Damned if I know.

There ARE such people as honest submissives, slaves, dominants, Masters and Mistresses. 

Honest is honest does.  In reading your profile, saying you are a gentleman; I find that what I see posted is very skewed from the "honesty" threads in your profile. Perhaps that is why so many reject; when they find an individual is not what they profess to be.

I don't know of any "gentlemen" who whines, complains, has fits of tirades and pity parties.  Most gentlemen have grace and dignity, even when their beehinds where whipped into surrender from Elizabethan times to the present.

As an individual that is a responsible adult, to which I know how the female submissive/slaves handle themselves and their responsibilities on a good many posts-- I am embarrassed for the behavior displayed by an individual claiming to be dominant.

Please do vent pain into someplace other than towards those that have done you no harm and by duty, by submissive manners are subjected to it without due recourse and or protection.

The submissive nature makes one more inclined towards manipulation and sneakiness? Uh, no? This sounds more as if you have a "type" of girl you gravitate towards and (just like the fellow who started this thread) are painting the rest of us with a broad brush dipped in a shallow pool.

In an interesting twist on the story here, I got a message from a gent here who said 'Hey there, I'm interested in you because you place a lot of importance on honesty, I do too, do you have a picture' and I said 'No, I think that pictures are a waste of time because you really have no idea whether or not I'm giving you a real picture of myself or of some model I dug up on Google Images -- if you want to get to know me, (insert screen name here), why don't we start chatting back and forth instead?'

A few days later I got a reply -- 'Forget it, you've made me disinterested, I want honesty and integrity, not submissives who lie to me. Don't ever contact me again!'

I got a little angry. What *was* this guy expecting? He wanted honesty, I gave it to him. He called me a liar. THEN he got MORE honesty from me. In spades. I haven't heard from him since I asked him to prove to me that he wasn't just looking for my picture so that he could jack off at night. What the heck is up with guys who can't handle it when subs *are* honest with them? This I don't get. He asked for honesty, I gave it to him, he thought I was lying my fat rear end off. It boggles my mind.

I guess there are some folks out there who are bound and determined to believe the worst, right off the bat.

This is the 'ask a submissive forum' not 'bash a submissive forum'. Why don't you go over to John's house and you can commiserate together about how sneaky and manipulative submissives are.. or about how you can't seem to handle the one you already own.

How would I look to take the example you two set and go to the Masters forum and lump them all together saying Masters can't get submissives and if they do they can't control them. Might as well give up because there are NO MASTERS in all the world.

Get a clue gents. Take your pity parties elsewhere.

None of them have been back after being reamed for their comments. I wonder if that means "Lesson learned!" or they simply can't be bothered now that they've dumped their bitterness over here.

Status: offline 		I'm pretty new to CollarMe ... but I'm sort of glad I didn't have a chance to weigh in on this topic.  I just had a Dom who has been running into the "not so submissive" types left and right ask me, "Why can't I meet a sub like you where I live???"

Methinks the fault for the vomit from John and his sidekick is their inability to recognize attractive, intelligent, HONEST submissives.  We're here, some of us are queer (or bi) and we are seeking HONEST Dominants to compliment our submissiveness.  I have been alone but searching for a real life, honest Dominant for more than 5 years and will keep looking until I find one.

Finally, all I can say about finding an honest companion is - if you want to find one, then be one!
