my advice from experiences, not any of your fancy schmancy book lernins ^_^: 1. It's impossible to breathe with a cock in your throat. DO NOT TRY. Attempting to breathe and being unable to sends you into panicky gagging spasms. Well, for me at least. @Nanako -- good point on breathing! though if you've ever played an instrument, and learned circular-breathing, that can be a little useful at times. still, that tends to tickle my throat and make me gaggy, so i just hold my breath as long as possible.
