I think it's just because it's such a taboo world. I think alot of people worry about how it will all reflect to the outside world and so forth and because of that alot of guys are scared to REALLY go what they're after. Its good to have webpages like this where you can openly seek someone with similar fetishes and fantasies, but often when you find the one who is perfect for your needs, theres often other boundaries to overcome. Distance could be one, or shyness. You've found this great girl. You don't want to stuff it up so you have to make sure you say the right thing, but what's the right thing to say?

I can't do that. Not even I'm that desperate. But I do think there are desperate people around whom we may not be aware of. I think they are everywhere. I think they are the 'nice guys' who always complain about why they are single. Not to offend anyone, (but probably will everyone), I think everyone here is a bit desperate in some way or another, myself included. Otherwise we wouldn't be here. We all came here to find something whether we have found it or not. Some of us are fortunate enough to live out our fantasies in reality and tell the whole online world about them, others aren't. Some are desperate for attention, others are desperate for a different kind of attention. I have no doubt people will write about how un-desperate they are now and how, intact and happy and fulfilled they are but, hey, it's the internet, that's what it's for :D

Incorrect. That statement would imply that you missinterpreted it in a sexual context. There was no sexual context assosciated to it. Me personally, I don't know what I'm here for yet. If I find a friend, great. If I get laid, fantastic. If I find my soulmate, then thank you CollarMe.com. But I didn't just come here for no reason. I came here to find 'something', I'm just not sure what it is. I also participate elsewhere. If I find a friend elsewhere, great. If I get laid elsewhere, fantastic. If I find my soulmate elsewhere, then thank you to the other webpages. You came here for the forums, so, I would say you came for discussion, knowledge maybe? Insight? This is the information superhigh way. For everything that has a reason there is someone searching for that reason. There is a reason why each and everyone of us is on this webpage. Why does saying "we all came here to find something" have to be interpreted as "we all came here to find dick and pussy"? "We all came here to find something" means that we are all searching for something. Be it sexual or otherwise, however, my first thought wasn't to sex. All relationships are not of a sexual nature true, but we are all here to find something. Either relationships (Sexual or other, friendships perhaps), or knowledge (as far as I can think of right now.) but my point is, we don't come here for absolutely no reason what so ever.

What they are trying to tell you is that some of us just really aren't here to "find" anything. My pet (at the time) introduced Me to the site four years ago. Back then, I was playing a lot more in Atlanta and there were a number of folks on the site that were active on the forums from that community as well as some where I lived. This isn't to say that I haven't had the good fortune to make friends and such through the site. I've met a number of folks over the years through the forums and they are fantastic people. I've had a lot of good times with some of the members here. That was just a bonus.
