The Micheal Moore left was opposed to the war in Afghanistan.

Then the "Michael Moore left" must be a pretty small group.

In Gallup's initial 2001 poll about Afghanistan, shortly after the U.S. invasion, and in the poll that followed in January 2002, a very small minority of 9% and 6% of Americans, respectively, said U.S. involvement in that country was a mistake.

Just me but I think Bushes failing was the invasion of Iraq not pursuing the war in Afghanistan. I think many in America agreed.

I disagree.

We've won a war in Iraq before.

Nobody's ever won a war in Afghanistan.

So, let me see if I understand this reasoning.

We had justification for invading Afghanistan but failed to commit the resources to accomplish what we intended.

Instead we invaded a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 because we had a better chance of winning?

Indeed it is. Thank God.

Is there anyone who is screaming (asserting/declaring) that Bush was great?

Not anymore.

When his approval ratings dropped to the 25%-30% range before the 2008 election he suddenly went from being a conservative hero to a RINO.

But it was funny watching all the people on here who sang his praises abandon him without a second thought.

Why don't you give us a single example of that? Quote one of these people.

Almost, but not quite: you used it as an excuse to invade a country with vast untapped oil deposits that Bush and his cabinet were horny to take control of.
