He reminds me of Chauchesco.   The Romanian Czar that was shot.

Seriously?

All those people in the streets.  Do you think this just goes away? If so- explain.

Well Ronald, according to Yahoo News about 6 minutes ago Mubarak is "on his way out", "Army takes over."
So I guess that negates anything Mssrs Obama, and Biden and vacuous Hillary have said about Egypt so far.
And these people are supposed to be "experts?"
I wonder if they "knew" that Mubarak had been stealing the lion's share of that "foreign aid" money? Surely they "knew" that he is "worth"
$50-$70 Billion U.S. Dollars as that has been in the Press.
And if they "knew" about Mubarak stealing all that money from us and did nor said nothing what does that make them? I don't know about "felching" but those three stooges may want to take up "Rolfing."
Yes, "Clarity" is a good thing don't you agree?

Well pops, this pretty much sums it up.  That is unless you can find where you were naming anyone else in "what they should know"

Ron, don't you understand that everything Mubarek has done in the last 30 years actually happened since Obama became President?

FL, and where did I say that? This has been going on for THIRTY YEARS in case you hadn't noticed.

You live in an Islamic society now? When did you move to Iran?

ORIGINAL: Politesub53

Thats so far from the truth in my experience, do you think all Christians adhere to the words in the Bible ?

Maybe I am lucky having spent most of my life in a cosmopolitan society but I have encountered very few militant Muslims. Most just want to get on wiith life, just the same as we do. I am wondering if you have ever sat and had a conversation with any Muslims. Somehow I doubt it.

Are you going to keep making crap up, or answer my question ? London has always had a high population of foreigners, going back some 2,000 years. I was born and raised there living in a mixed society, the majority of Muslims I have met want the same things from life we do. Your pathetic attempt at a reply shows you have no intention of debate, just mudslinging.

If I recall rightly the Muslim Brotherhood denounced 9/11. In any group of this nature you will get extremist views and moderate views. From recent news reports from Egypt the MB doesnt have a large following as yet, percentage wise.

I seem to remember there was a link to the brotherhood in the 1993 bombing of the trade center...could be wrong...But if so this makes your statement ironic don't you think?

Butch

Indeed it does, if true. I dont know either wayregards 1993.

Sanity -> RE: What is the Muslim Brotherhood (2/10/2011 4:18:27 PM)

I was writing about "a truly Islamic society" and you responded by relating your experiences while living in London. Either you are terribly confused and cant properly follow a thread, or things have gotten much worse there than what the news lets on.

The missionary couple from our church is finally home safely.   There has been alot of prayer and commentary about this.  However I missed those services.    My neighbor says she can get the CD.   I am most curious.   The couple describes in detail everything they experienced prior to being able to come home.

The few things- ...well the burning of the police station- and muni buildings in Alexandria we knew about a week before I seen it on the net.  Losing the water supply- I had not seen reported.

Egypt has some significance somehow to the end times- says my neighbor- she thinks is imminent- yet- she is still doing her 1040 taxes...if Revelations is here- then why bother?

IMO  we are good for a few years...  not imminent.    She responds that- it will come when not expected.

Missionaries in Egypt, may I ask, what the fuck they were doing there in their capacity as missionaries ?

I love the way you keep skipping my question...Have you sat down and talked with any Muslims. I was pointing out that I have, and on a long term basis.

Well here is a newsflash. You dont have to live in the Vatican to be truly Catholic, or Jerusalem to be truly Jewish.

I doubt all the 1.5 billion adherents of Islam live in truly Islamic societies either. I have problems with the lumping of one large group into a small pigeon hole.

Sanity -> RE: What is the Muslim Brotherhood (2/10/2011 4:33:20 PM)

Go on pretending that you live in an Islamic society if that pleases you but dont expect many others to be drawn in to your strange version of reality

I'm fairly sure they were being missionaries and doing what they do....

Okay, for the one and only time. I have never made that claim, YOU are making it to avoid answering my question.

You made the claim no moderates can line in a truly Islamic society....... My answer is that thats nonsense, there are many moderate Islamic states. I wont get into any debate with you about reality either.

I wouldn't actually call many Islamic states moderate. We have to be a bit realistic about this conversation. We'd like to assume they don't have crazy laws but a lot of them do. Time to be honest. Every second week some couple is being tried for sex outside of marriage, that isn't my definition of moderate. No religious law is moderate because it's law based on saving people from themselves when there is no proof they actually need saving. It isn't about an actual crime, say beautifying someone's face with a hammer, it's about spiritual crimes. It's bollocks. Sure dogging etc. is probably illegal in the UK but that is because it affects others not because we are trying to save their immortal soul.

Sanity -> RE: What is the Muslim Brotherhood (2/10/2011 4:59:48 PM)

You failed to get the point I was making, and I am not going to repeat the same points for you simply because you lack the capacity to understand. I suggest you go back and read page two of this thread more carefully if you want or need further clarification.

Sanity -> RE: What is the Muslim Brotherhood (2/10/2011 5:02:29 PM)

Kills you to be in agreement with me, doesnt it.

But there it is, and furthermore its time to quit being so PC that we cannot speak or acknowledge the truth, isnt it.
