Well my personal opinion will be:
Short election after major Constitutional amendments of president election,
However the Muslim brothers have huge background in the people,
The military will be at side (hopefully) & just look to keep things at normal way of transforming to democracy in peace.
Military in Egypt are very respected by the people (not like other countries).
I personally think the next era will be the era of in-between things,
now who want a free drink? [:D]

You should know that popeye was in and retired from the coast guard during one of the largest influxes of illegal aliens in our nations history, so....he's sorta not capable of anything anyway.

to be honest, I believe that the transition of power is going to be far from peaceful, and there will be a power struggle for a while until that void can be filled. BUT I wish the Egyptian people good fortune and a bright future.

I knew Popeye served, but didn't know which branch of service, nor what time it was during or that he's a retired serviceman.  Kudos to him for that.  And I know his feelings on illegal aliens.  I have some of the same opinions he has to when it comes to illegal aliens.  But the very thought of "act like, speak like, so must be like" has nothing to do with illegal aliens, democrats...or for that matter republicans.  Him claiming to be an independent would make that logic (I would have thought)....well...obvious to him, by now.
