Jeffff -> RE: United States to Pursue UN Global Gun Ban (2/13/2011 4:43:41 PM)

For 3.5 years I have been reading RO's posts. They invariably contain misleading and often outright false information.

It seems like much, much longer.

I dont read them, I just respond to people who post in response:)
I needed some fun in my day!

Cluster 6
A draft on consolidation of peace through practical disarmament measures (document A/C.1/61/L.37) would have the Assembly emphasize the importance of including, in United Nations-mandated peacekeeping missions, as appropriate and with the consent of the host States, practical disarmament measures aimed at addressing the problem of the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons in conjunction with disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programmes aimed at former combatants, in order to promote an integrated comprehensive and effective weapons management strategy.

I believe that the misunderstanding came from this section.   The operative word here is AND.   Without that, then the UN could come into any signatory with a "peace keeping force" to disarm the populace without the host countries permission.

Lucylastic -> RE: United States to Pursue UN Global Gun Ban (2/13/2011 6:39:18 PM)

consent is more the word someone didnt read sheesh

I've read of three cases in which US citizens were extradited to foreign countries after not breaking any US law. The one I can easily prove is that of Ernst Zundel. You might not like him or his ideology, but that wasn't a reason for criminal action in this country last I checked.

I believe though that Zundel was a dual citizen, but even at that when in US obey US law, when in Germany obey German law. Makes sense right ? If I go to Amsterdam and smoke pot, should the US be able to prosecute me ? Where does jurisdiction end ? These lines are being blurred, and while some responses to such things are alarmist, the threat is real. It's just not as imminent as some think.

And there's always the old axiom, which seems quite true - Give them an inch, they'll take a mile. While I am not watching for pieces of the sky, someone has to keep an eye on these suits, whose goals are not in line with the well being or the spirit of freedom of this country.

As usual Termy...you're full of shit

consent when it comes to government means unless you are at the end of a barrel of a gun and counter sue.  You can find lots of tax cases that state it in the northwest reporter.

hey ken.....

how can he violate federal law if he is not a citi-zen and "subject" to the jurisdiction thereof?  [8|]

Ok... wait a minute... now you're saying that only citizens have to obey the laws of the land? Foreign nationals are above the law?

You aren't really going to try that, are you?

well if they knew how to properly sue thats not far from the truth.  Problem is they need to go international and how many mexicans hell how many americans have a clu?

Granted if they inflict INJURY on anyone then they can be held.

Now depending on the circumstances they can also be held under LA  etc.

on the brite side if your sperm is as potent as your arguments we dont have to worry about any more of you running around.

and in 3.5 years you have yet to make a cogent rebuttal to any damn thing that I posted with regard to history and law yet.

Panda, according to Realone, the federal government is not the legal government of the United States, so in his warped mind, no one has to follow federal law.

I have never heard so much pure garbage in a long time.  You prove you do not know shit about shinola about law with that statement even though I have given them to the board on several occasions.

you couldnt detail out what you said in 1000 years.

fucking idiot

Lucy, facts mean nothing to realone.

Before I put him on ignore, I read enough of his posts to realize that he had some pretty extremist views on the world.

No matter what the facts and reality are, he will not see it, or he will twist them to suit his own interpretation of what they mean.

Termyn8or -> RE: United States to Pursue UN Global Gun Ban (2/13/2011 9:40:09 PM)

"As usual Termy...you're full of shit "

Sure am. The key to success in today's world. The world which you and others think is going nicely, with motherhood and brotherhood and colors of green and gray.

Did you ever answer my question in the other thread ? About what an extreme pacifist like you would do if your loved one was getting raped ? Do you even have an answer.

There are armchair quarterbacks, and there are armchair lifers. I don't even have an armchair,,,  wait there is a recliner in my basement. Does that count as an armchair ? Bacause it's the only one in my house. I have a bunch of spare power tools sitting on it. Know anyone who needs a router ?

Reality buddy. What if you were in it ?

T^T

ETA BTW, that issue is settled, I admitted I was wrong. What do you want, fucking blood ? I'll send you some, and I am not kidding. I'm not scared of a little bleeding. It's O positive. Good shit man.

T^T

Pull the fucker off...but no I wouldn't resort to violence
ETA And before you call me on it, you chose a bad example because I lived trhrough exactly that issue when I was in high school, got my ass kicked but she walked away safe...so fuck off

Termyn8or -> RE: United States to Pursue UN Global Gun Ban (2/13/2011 10:01:33 PM)

When you get smart RO, you won't call people idiots, or stupid. Some of your references are off, and even if they're dead on, this type of shit comes into play in the higher, or supreme court, not Linndale, Ohio. None of these courts want to hear it.

Fuck the argument. I'll be the first to say that you are not always right, and neither am I. But to argue it is a waste of time. Just plant the seed. They don't believe, so what. One may come back and say "Hey, you were right".

When you argue this shit with people who do not understand the difference between our law and that of other countries, you are counterproductive, that is if your goal is to "educate". If your goal is to alienate, well carry on then.

Termyn8or -> RE: United States to Pursue UN Global Gun Ban (2/13/2011 10:05:30 PM)

"Pull the fucker off...but no I wouldn't resort to violence "

So would you help him up, give him a ride to the bus stop or whatever ? I believe it is our RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that he is either afraid to do it again, or unable.

So, you have a more effective solution to criminals ? What do you propose ?

T^T

Arpig -> RE: United States to Pursue UN Global Gun Ban (2/13/2011 11:38:00 PM)
