reading and digesting every bit of information at submissivewomensecrets.com =p haha on a serious note, discussions of "twueness" generally put people off. there is no one definition of "true" -- someone who is fake to you could be the most real thing in the world to another person. what's important is to find someone who you can really believe in, honestly.

Good character. Holding true to his word. Being big enough to care for himself and for another. Technical expertise in whips, bondage, etc. doesn't hurt.

(For my purposes) he has to have the same name and appearance and attitude as MY Master. All you others are fakes [8D] Seriously though, he or she has to have the attributes that make THEIR partner believe that they are a Master.

Actually, with how the OP phrased her question, I kind of like this thread. I was originally coming here to look upon the horror before bed, but now I think I'll have to keep an eye on this one. The way it was asked leads to some interesting philosophical debate and introspection I believe. For the moment though, too tired to type out my thoughts, and have to be in to work 4 hours early for some god awful meeting...

I was asking this question to see the different opinions that people would give.. I really don't know the answer to this question but to me if I can find someone I'm truly wanting to be with I will slowly submit to him and his needs.. I dont fully submit until I have the love and desire to submit.. I just don't do that with anyone or everyone.. I think my submitting to the man is my gift and showing him how much i love him and want to be with him... Regardless of the amount of training or the amount of knowledge he has a "DOM" or "MASTER"... [sm=waves.gif]

Besides what Dark Steven said, I would add all those things which are the mark of a MAN: Honour, Integrity, Courage, Honesty, Strength of character, A man who will draw the line in the sand for what he believes and defend it to the death if needs be. He has compassion, He is not afraid to admit his mistakes and learn by them. He is willing to and desires to learn as he knows no one person knows all there is to know about Kink and BDSM. He is willing to teach, mentor and encourage those who are new in this lifestyle. He doesn't crusade against those with whom he disagrees. He is happy to stand aside and say this is not my kink.
