I am a unabashed profile perver who loves a wide variety of female forms but certainly some stand out more than other's and there is one in particular whose pics regularly caused a transfer of blood from one head to the other. Unfortunately she took down her profile (oh why oh why didn't I save those pics to my hard drive? [sm=banghead.gif] ). Oh well, I thought, I can still see that cute face of hers in her avatar pic. I also have what (I suppose) could be called a "spiritual crush" on another poster. She is certainly a very sexy gal (awsome ass) but what I really admire about her is that I have never once seen her make any kind of mean or nasty remark to anyone. This, in addition to her "hugs and smooches for everyone" policy (if you didn't know who I was talking about before, you should now) makes her the person I most admire on these boards.

Of course I have crushes on some people here, but they all live too far away to make any difference.

Some I crush on for their words, some are hot, some are funny and would be great to hang out.

What I really wish was that I could hear everyone's voice. I think I know what someone will sound like and I am sure I am wrong most of the time.

I also would like to not only see the faces (of those who can't show them here) but also to share mine. I can't due to work. There is actually a policy against showing my identity on a site such as this. I do wish it was a more closed site.

I guess I'll just keep fantasizing.

i get crushes easily, i tend to be attracted to at least 90% of the people in any given room and could easily have a crush on that many.  Having a crush is an enjoyable sensation to me which i would have a hard time suppressing and it's sort of foreign to me to think of them as something i should suppress, they're just warm fuzzies for another human and i can't see the harm--acting on them is another matter entirely however.  Being human-crazy is one thing, acting human-crazy can be quite detrimental to one's sanity and well-being.

Assume i have a tiny one on you, dear reader, you're probably not wrong.

As an aside, i look a lot like my avatar actually . . . only, with a lot more nose. :)

Hello Hippiekinnkster, this is not an attack on you - just my point of view on your statement here.

Regarding Califchick - it has never been my impression she is misrespresenting herself simply because of the avatar she chooses to use on the message board. Her profile has a couple of pictures that show clearly how she looks in real life, it also states clearly in her profile what type of person she is. Her posts do the same. In fact, her avatar DOES speak of her interests in BDSM (far as I know) so it is an honest depiction of her as a person and how she relates to bondage.

There are a lot of people who may not have a picture of themselves up, but tell a bit of themselves by the avatar they choose. I'm certainly not the woman in my avatar, but it represents me all the same because I drew it. It was the first time I'd ever picked up a pencil to draw and I just wanted to TRY something new, to see if I could do it (which is exactly how I stumbled upon BDSM). It speaks of me, not literally but figuratively, even if all it tells people is I've no talent for art, but that doesn't keep me from expressing myself anyway.

If you stop looking at Avatars as literal representations of the person at the screen, and instead consider the symbolisms, you might be less unkind and harsh toward them. Maybe. I dunno. Just a thought.
