I dig putting a symbolic representation up. My avatar is just because I like that particular symbol. But I won't put up a pic of another human being; I'll put one up that is me, like the two I just put up on my profile (which once was completely filled out until I deleted it becsue that bitch XI banned me about 2 years back at least because I had the audacity to quote an article in the Knoxville TN newspaper that had the n-word in it). It's my opinion, you put a human pic up, make it of yourself. Anything else says to me you put up someone else's pic because you are unsatisfied with who you are. A self-loathing. Which I find ugly as home-made sin. And some don't even have the courage to put up real pics of themselves on their profiles. They're photoshopped or are 10 fucking years old or some such shit. I find that dishonest too.
That's my opinion, and I'm absolutely sure I won't find any agreement, but that's OK by me.
Be who the fuck you are. Fuck, It might be nice to look like Kevin Sorbo but I don't, I am who I am, I look the way i look, and I think putting up a pic of someone else is a rejection of who I am.
As I said, that's my opinion.
