ORIGINAL: popeye1250 Joether, take a walk through Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, Brockton or New Bedford and Fall River. Plenty of "Liberal ignorance" there. Didn't they used to call it, ....."Kennedy Country?" Boarded up buildings, high school dropout rates of 60%, rampant drug use, high unemployment rates. Old Ted voted for all of those "free trade deals that put tens of thousands of his constituents out of work, didn't he? But, he was educated. Oh,.....wait,.....he was expelled from Harvard U. for cheating. Awwww,....."the liberal lion!" Popeye, if you EVER quoted accurate facts it would be considered a miracle. Nowhere in Massachusetts is there a dropout rate of 60%, in fact the entire state has a drop out rate of less than 3% for a total of 8,585 students (2.9 percent) out of 292,372 high school students in grades 9-12 statewide dropped out of school. It is true that Kennedy was expelled from Harvard, but was reinstated after he served a two year term in the army. The state wide unemployment rate is comparable to the national average and is in fact a little less than the national average at 8.4% according to the most recent numbers. I really like how you and your kind are so fond of rewriting facts, or should I say lying out of your ass.
