The whole fucking politics and religion section "is entirely you lot insulting each other"

Doesnt matter where youre from...

And now youre trying to throw in an insult of your own, as if its helping you share some kind of a brilliant observation?

.....no it's not.

Just because people naturally react to your style of debate with insults doesn;t mean that everyone is always insulting everyone else......just that everyone is insulting you.

"The whole fucking politics and religion section "is entirely you lot insulting each other""

Speak for yourself. some folks have enough intelligence to do otherwise.

Sprinkling reality on liberals is like sprinkling salt on slugs.

Its not my problem, its theirs.

Blame the teachers unions.  [;)]

Nah I blame it on lack of funding for education combined with a culture that does not value intelligence and learning.

Elisabella, correct, they don't value intelligence and learning, they value "degrees."

I was actually thinking of the people who never made it to tertiary education...the gangstas and the rednecks and the teen moms and the kids who can tell you Justin Beiber's date of birth but not when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

There's nothing wrong, IMO, with putting emphasis on a degree as proof of professional training...but when these professionals can't stand the thought of reading for leisure, something is wrong.
