Fastreply as I am on my way out the door! Here is the thinking... "I don't believe these transgendered people are really "women" or "men" as they claim..." Thereby... It is okay to exclude them from my gender's public restroom. It is okay to deny them entrance to my business, restaurant, service. It is okay to deny them employment, or fire them if I find out that they are transgendered. It is okay to deny them housing, or evict them if I find out that they are transgendered. It is okay to deny them basic medical care for their condition, and to not insure for it. That is the thinking that pervades the mainstream right-wing (mostly religious) opposition today. Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to find out in how many U.S. states, those basic denials of rights are still quite legal - and issues that transgendered women and men face each and every day. Then go look up the statistics for targeted transgender murders in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010...look at the trend... There is a lot at stake here for other-gendered folk, and it is no surprise thereby, if we are just a bit passionate about it all...

I don't believe for a second that his original complaint is anywhere near what he makes it out to be or that female Dominants are being drowned out by an upsurge of people selecting 'female' rather than 'trans'. The original screamed lack of education and a lot of other things that I could list here. However, the OP definitely does have a right to his preferences in his own personal relationships. That's a basic human right too.

That's a basic human right too. I support his right to have his preferences. We all have preferences. But that wasn't how his posts struck me. What I found personally especially offensive was his statements about how transgendered women were basically defiling the pool and how it would be misogynistic of him if he did not stand up for "double-x" women. What I found just difficult to buy was the scenario of the generic 'Trans' becoming the predominant part of the CM Dominant Female population. Simply put, I have not seen an influx of poor distressed "double-x" Damsel-Dommes who needed to be saved. I offered a video on the experience of some transgendered women. I offered it because after seeing it, I found I my own knowledge base had been pretty narrow. I am glad that you found it interesting LP. I thought it was. I am not surprised that the OP seems uninterested in viewing it. edit: clarity X2

FR Other people who've read more papers than I have are handling the biological and sociological arguments well, so I'll leave them. I just want to address this one point: The OP has referred several times to what 'XX-women' (and there is something really unpleasant about that term) have to 'endure'. As an 'XX-Domme', I have to say that the fact that some other Dommes have had gender reassignment surgery and list accordingly as the women that they are does not affect me in the least. Not a problem. Not in the slightest. I really can't see why it would.

OP- i think i can solve your problem. How about this: Instead of expecting transgender women to identify as such in their CM profiles, why don't you just write a brief excerpt in yours explaining tactfully (yes, TACTFULLY, not as you've done here) that you aren't interested in TG female dominants. i would avoid use of the terms, "false pretenses", "real vs. fake", "non-women", and "pseudo-women" and respectfully explain that, sexually, you're not interested in those women and request that They not contact you. Write it in bold at the top of your profile. See if that works. If it doesn't work (it's been mentioned here that, on occasion, people don't read profiles carefully), then perhaps you should bring up the question yourself when you begin talking to Someone. Again, T-A-C-T-F-U-L-L-Y let them know that you aren't interested in TG women, if that should be their case. If, in spite of all that, TG Dominant women continue to "bombard" you with emails and flat out lie about their biological gender when directly asked, well, i don't know what the site can possibly do about that. Anyone who would lie to you would lie to the site, so i don't think "requiring" people to state their biological gender would work; quite apart from any argument about whether they should be required to give their biological gender, their legal gender, or just the gender that they identify with. This is the internet. Sometimes people lie. (Gasp.) i find it difficult to believe that the problem is as bad as you're representing it, but if it is, a quick note at the top of your profile or in a email should help, and avoids the problem of requiring other people to label themselves in a way that they don't want to. pam

LP, you are not looking for a dominant woman so you have great liberty to believe what you will, but your particular category is swamped with people who are or once were physically men. I hear Dommes rightfully bitching about 'fake' subs all the time - but what they mean is the guy doesn't live up to expectations or is too cowardly to meet her. I will not doubt that you know at least a few other Dommes who are pissed about that. How much worse does it make it for those Dommes that the real subs have to sort through a surging mountain of misrepresented chromosomes to find the Dommes who are sick of talking to half-hearted wankers and want the real thing. Good lord get the fuck over it. Bottom line, people lie and people exaggerate. Life is no bowl of cherries for anyone if they look at the bull shit that other people do. Refine yourself and don't be lazy or complain on and on about how difficult the challenges are of finding a partner. We all have some sort of issues there and thank the powers that be not everyone is complaining about them and making up factoids to confirm there is a problem. You are talking of many topics within this topic and it became a jumbled up mess. Which amounts to... you think you're special, want someone to make it easier and wish to continue to complain. We are out there. We are not so hard to find, no matter what. You may be looking in the wrong areas. Check out the dominants on the message boards for an example. Short cut to some pretty easy findings I would think. When you have a problem, do you complain, make up factoids to justify your claims or do you get pro active in solving the problem? A good dominant wants someone pro active in solution solving as the clueless bunch tend to be worth far less than those that have the wherewithal to do something about things that come up. So far the complaints I see most from the domina set is not that people flake... but people whine and whine often. It's a big bad world out there, what are you going to do about it that actually would amount to a change in your life and circumstances? Gee... other people have real problems.
